A Few Things

So I've been laying low and concentrating on recuperating lately and there's been some progress. The Chinese herbal medicine treatment is taking effect even if it does work rather slowly. The nausea is mostly gone, hopefully for good this time. I'm still dealing with the tinnitus though it has somewhat diminished and the vertigo attacks are less frequent now.

I apologize for not being able to come around and thank everyone personally yet but I want you to know how much I truly appreciate all the sweet encouragement and positivity from your comments, messages and emails. It's been a real lift to my spirits.

I got a haircut last week and I'm hoping that the bad energy of the illness was shed along with the couple inches of hair.

We recently acquired a Tempur-Pedic Cloud Supreme mattress. It's definitely a different sleep experience from a traditional spring mattress but if it's possible to be in love with your bed then I'm absolutely smitten.

I'm a late adopter to Pinterest but I think I might've just developed a slight addiction to pinning. It's kind of like visual crack. If you'd like to connect, you can find me here.

We've been watching the Korean drama King 2 Hearts. The fictionalized modern day constitutional monarchy setting is as interesting to me as the pairing of Lee Seung Gi as a South Korean prince and Ha Ji Won as a North Korean special forces agent who couple up. It's not as light as I thought it would be but the drama is well paced, beautifully filmed and the performances have been solid. And while Lee Seung Gi has always looked amazing in suits he's even more of charming here in his white tux.

hi dear, I sincerely hope that the fact that you are posting again means you're feeling better. Just read an article about the syndrome in the newspaper this week and was wondering how you're feeling. The drama series actually sounds quite interesting! Enjoy the new mattress!

i heard that drama is good. i am currently watching Rooftop Prince and I have to try to control my laughter so my roommate does not think I am insane. Is Ha Ji Won from Secret Garden? (my mom is currently watching and she is in love with that drama and rooftop prince). Ooooo congrats on getting that nice bed, i always wanted to try it. I would probably be in love with the bed too since I love blogging and doing all my hw on my bed.

yay for feeling better. never knew herbals could help when you are sick. I will def try that sometime

It's so good to hear you are feeling better!!! The beautiful weather and scenery {I'm including LSG in this} hopefully are helping. I tried watching King 2 Hearts but I fell asleep {this happens when I try to watch any tv} and I haven't tried it again. I've been watching Fashion King as well. I usually make it through about 10 minutes a night, but have been known to fall asleep before the opening credits.

Thanks for the window photography tip! I wish I could take night shots of more windows. Around here a lot of the good window displays are indoors {all the LVs are in indoor shopping places}. I'll be in Manhattan next month but I think I'll be out before dark so that won't help - although I'm scouting windows that I want to walk by even if it is day time.

I hope you keep getting better!

I'm so glad you are starting to feel better! A haircut is such a good idea after being sick. When you feel up to it, a mani/pedi helps too! Hoping the weather holds for my quick trip to nyc next week.

Good to hear you're getting better! Hopefully you'll be feeling good as new before spring is over! Back where I live, I'm not sure we've springtime yet.. The flowers are blooming and the trees have their foliage back on, but all the rain that didn't come in the winter is falling on us now, I was lucky enough to see a bit of sun on my birthday!

I'm so glad to see you back and happy to hear you're feeling much better than you were! I'm with you - the spring here has been wonderful - it's hard to ever get enough of blossoming trees, blue skies and colorful tulips around every corner! Coming from a place with few visible seasonal transitions, I love how very definite spring is here.
