Before Thanksgiving, I was contacted by Firmoo.com, with an offer to send me a free pair of glasses or sunglasses. As a sometimes spectacle wearer, it was too good of an offer to pass up even though I was a little skeptical about being able to find suitable glasses online without trying them on. This led me to their website which I found to be user friendly and well organized. I actually had a hard time choosing frames because there were many styles I liked but was able to narrow down my options using their Virtual Try-On system where you can upload your own photo. The product specifications which clearly list each frame's dimensions were extremely helpful and made it easy to compare the sizes with glasses I already own. I settled on the SD2242 which turned out to be the right choice as the SD2299 that I actually preferred more would've been way too big for my face as the measurements suggested. Their order system was easy to use as well. I opted for a prescription pair and I just needed to enter the information from a copy of my prescription from my eye doctor onto a simple form. I placed my order and 9 days later, my new glasses arrived in the mail. They came in a standard hard protective case along with a cleaning cloth, a soft protective case and a tiny screwdriver with extra screws.
Good things are meant to be shared so I should mention that Firmoo has an awesome worldwide First Pair Free program for new customers. You can choose RX or fashion glasses, sunglasses or even safety glasses (googles). All you have to pay is shipping. There's no risk and the price is right so if you'd like to score some free eyewear of your own just visit their site. With the holidays around the corner, fashion eyeglasses or sunglasses can make a great gift for friends or loved ones. Just saying.
I'm quite the fan of spectacles that I even have a Pinterest board dedicated to them which includes many lovely bespectacled celebrities like her, her, him, him and him. I don't think they're just for geeks and that they can be a great fashion accessory. Am I the only one?
I received a complimentary pair of eyeglasses from Firmoo for this the purposes of this review. I was not provided any other compensation and all opinions expressed here are 100% my own.
