Eye Candy : A Thing of Beauty is a Joy Forever...

January 17, 2013

I originally had a Dine Out post planned for today but I was so utterly blown away by this exquisite Glass Magazine editorial photographed by Stockton Johnson featuring Du Juan and Tian Yi that I had to share it first. These gorgeous models are also clad in Chanel Haute Couture. While Song Hye Kyo's pictorial had a soft and almost dreamy feel to it, this one is decidedly more glamorous in the styling, hair and makeup.

Glass Magazine #12 // Winter 2012 // A Thing of Beauty is a Joy Forever... // Photographer: Stockton Johnson
Stylist: Lucienne Leung-Davies // Models: Du Juan & Tian Yi // Hair: Addy Lee Jack Chong  // Makeup: Ma Yu

  30. I've never heard of Glass Magazine but these clothes and models are gorgeous!

I would probably not like fixing computers for a living, but it's good to know that I can. The hours in design can be very, very long and then you have to go to way too many after work events but at least I generally like the clients.

I would definitely stop by Hu Kitchen if you are in the area. The food prices were a huge shock to me {especially the non-organic prepared foods made with 3 ingredients} but maybe that is normal in Manhattan and maybe it's because it's listed as by the pound and I see a high price even if I definitely won't eat a whole pound. The coffee and oj were delicious so I would try some food the next time around.

I do actually eat some of my pinned recipes but I have to change them around a lot so most of the time I stick to what I know how to make. I have been itching to try out something new though.

I can't believe you were able to id the Dior handbags. Thank you! I finally found one myself but I didn't look that high in price, even if there are a couple I know in that price range that I would like. :)

  34. This editorial is stunning! So glamorous, just like you said. The dresses are fabulous, especially the first one. Love that. :)

    ReplyDelete
  35. Ohhh... yes, this is definitely more glamorous and striking. The "haute" part of haute couture is very nicely exemplified here.
I think my favorite outfit is the second one. That soft pink with that plaid, tweed-ish jacket...I adore the contrast in styles and textures between the inner and outer layers.
