Eye Candy : Yoon So Yi for Sure

March 20, 2013

Yoon So Yi is beautiful in blue for this fashion editorial lensed by Zoo Yong Gyun in Sure Korea magazine. The actress/model who is known for her action oriented roles in Arahan and Warrior Baek Dong Soo is currently appearing in the drama Iris 2 as a South Korean student turned North Korean spy. Rich cobalt is one of the most brilliant shades of blue. I think it's one of those colors that can be universally wearable if you dare. I just bought a pair of cobalt pants which I can't wait to break out. Is this a color you would wear?

  1. Hi Rowena, you always bring us the best in Asian editorials, I would have missed most of these stunning features if it were not for you. I am loving the luxuriousness on these fabrics and sumptuous pieces of clothing. The colour scheme is richly beautiful too. Hope you're doing well hun!

  8. I love cobalt blue, my most favorite shade oc blue indeed. It is vibrant, bold and gorgeous. I have a pair of pants in this color and worn so often. I think i am more willing to wear cobalt blue more than neon yellow or lime green..hehe.

  10. Cobalt blue is one of my favourite colours and I often pity that some of my clothes in that shade have washed off and don't look oh so great anymore. The editorial is actually making me crave new clothes in this shade! Badly!
    Fortunately I don't have much money to spend at all x)

  13. I love all her clothes, they are so simple yet so beautiful. I have a couple of tops in cobalt that I like to wear, I feel like they are colorful enough but not neon. Speaking of clothes, I don't really wear stripes often now that polka dots are socially acceptable to wear again. {Who am I kidding. I'd wear them anyway, they are just easier to find now.}

    Adequate rest during the week is hard to come by since I am getting up at 4:30 these days. I have 1 week and 2 days left until my new job which is closer and I can arrive 1/2 hour later. That should help a lot.

    I know I always say I don't like melos as well but I got hooked onto one called Sparkling {they label them all romantic comedies so I start and can't stop}. I pretty much cry every episode, I wish I had your restraint. Speaking of dramas, I saw that Jackie Chan is on RM. I haven't actually ever seen his movies, but I have seen him in interviews and he is hilarious. Perhaps that is a good episode to get into things.

    Everything is yummy when it's fried. In addition to that, I like that the inari have a simple flavor. I think I was sealing my dumplings with just water. Perhaps it didn't have enough glue that way, I had no idea about that. I know I amused the person I was asking asking advice from, but she never mentioned egg. I got a raw vegan cookbook back when borders was closing and it has a recipe for gochujang sauce that I have been making lately. I have been putting the sauce on cooked things {which is hilarious because it's supposed to be raw and vegan}. The cold Mexican avocado lime soup wasn't quite as successful....

  17. Hi Rowena! I haven't worn cobalt in quite a long time ... and I think it's time to pick up a piece. I love to wear the color in a top because it makes my blue eyes SO VERY blue! No other color is quite as powerful for making blue eyes pop! Love it! Hope you're having a wonderful week and happy spring! xo ~S
