Style Crush : Emma Stone

March 11, 2013

It's no secret that I have a style crush and a girl crush on Emma Stone. She always looks flawless and never takes herself too seriously. The actress got a jump on the black and white Spring trend wearing a sleeveless black Lanvin Pre-Fall 2013 dress paired with a white Lanvin top to the NYC premiere of her new film The Croods. The look was finished with a layered statement necklace and beige platform pumps also from Lanvin. Her blonde hair was pulled into a tousled updo and her makeup consisted of rosy lips/cheeks and smoky eyes. I like how the floral accent on the top adds a feminine touch while also toning down the edginess of the exaggerated bow on her dress. She manages to look youthful, modern and elegant at the same time. What do you think of Emma Stone's premiere look?

  6. This is a beautiful outfit. Actually, it was only recently that I watched an interview with her for the first time (I had only read interviews in magazines and online). I especially noticed how she didn't take herself too seriously; I liked her even more.

  9. She looks stunning, as usual! Black and white is obviously the chicest of combos, but I also love the mix of textures...and do I spy a giant bow on the back? Stunning! I'm repeating myself, I know :) I love Emma's style, and I also have a huge crush on her (she's right there with Jen Lawrence) - I love how they are both funny, genuine and lovely!

  16. I see her in a lot of magazines and she certainly is pretty, but I don't know too much else about her, so I can't honestly say I "love" her. That is an interesting, bold choice of dress though!

  23. Oh my gosh, Emma Emma Emma. She's so absolutely darling, seeming to be like a lovely girl next door in one shoot and a drop dead glamorous beauty in another. Her eyes are simply magnificent and captivating ... and she's such a wonderful actress. I think I became a true Emma fan with her role in The Help and now I must watch everything she's in lol! Thanks for stopping by, Rowena ... I agree with you, springing ahead is such a happy and optimistic phrase and it's officially phrase in my mind ... much more exciting than "falling back!" ;) Have a great week, love! xo ~S

  29. I don't know too much about Emma Stone but she looks great in this dress! I usually think, "that's cute but I'd never wear it". This dress I would actually wear.

I'll admit, I'm super picky about logos, so much so that I passed up some of the adorable Puma shoes you told me about because they put 3 logos on each tiny ballet flat. If they hadn't done that I would have purchased a pair or maybe more.
