Shoe Crush : Sophia Webster Violeta Sandals

Sophia Webster, jelly sandals
I thought jelly sandals were cool as a kid. They usually came in such bright cheerful colors and just seemed like they'd be fun to wear. I never had a pair and I never really thought about wearing them as an adult until I spied these lovely Sophia Webster Violeta Sandals. The updated sleek silhouette, candy colored straps and glitter finished heels lend a charming and grown up feel to this childhood classic. They'd be great for the summer paired with shorts or dresses.

Did you have a pair of jelly sandals when you were a child? Would you consider wearing them now?

For everyone who liked Ji Chang Wook's fabulous flamingo print bomber. It's from Zara Man and available here.

Jellies are not usually my thing, but these are lovely. I like the glitter heel.

Definitely had jellies as a child! I love jelly shoes just for the nostalgia. But they are a bit like crocs in my opinion. Absolutely no fashion statement and I would not choose to wear them. They do make me smile though, and I love seeing people in jellies just because it reminds me of my childhood. The ones above are an improvement on the standard jellies I think, various colours and a heel? Not what were on my feet at 7. Rosemary x

I had lavender jellies as a child and I was obsessed with them! I would definitely wear them now if they are as comfortable as the ones I used to have.

I remember jelly sandals! These are seriously the prettiest and girliest ones I've ever seen! I don't think I could ever wear a pair again though. I'm sure they'd hurt my feet and dare I say, even make them stinky!

I LOVED them when I was a kiddo. I totally had several. My favs were neon pink. Ironically neon pink and now jellies are back. I would totally wear them with pride. I would probably want a plain clear pair though.

Thanks for putting this adorableness on my radar. I had no idea.

Nice sandals. My mother always made sure we had a pair every summer growing up. She said they were the best to get to and from the pool. :)

Not gonna lie, when they started trending last year/this year (?), I was like "AWW HELL NAW". But these things are actually kinda cute! I remember wearing them as a kid, but it's when you see adults wearing them that it kinda gets weird. I would definitely consider wearing them though
