Anjolee, The Art of Jewelry

July 28, 2014

When I got engaged, I had my ring custom made by my aunt's jeweler friend in the diamond district of NYC. I selected a princess cut diamond with a platinum band. There was a particular setting from a certain popular jewelry retailer which I loved that they were able to recreate for me. I was really happy since I got a one of a kind ring with a quality diamond for a very reasonable price. We had our wedding rings made at the same time while we were at it.

Since then I've been a fan of custom jewelry. When I was introduced to Anjolee, I was impressed by their selection of diamond engagement rings and jewelry in an array of classic, vintage and modern styles. Their unique customization system allows you to design your own jewelry based on your taste and budget. You can easily personalize any item by specifying the metal type, diamond size and quality. They only sell conflict free diamonds which are guaranteed with a certificate of authenticity. If Anjolee had been around back in the day, I would've considered getting my engagement ring from them but for now I'm pondering an anniversary ring. Hubster actually wanted to buy me one for our 10th wedding anniversary a few years ago but I wanted a camera instead. He still says I can have both.

What do you think of customized jewelry? Is there a story to your engagement ring?

  2. All so very beautiful! And I love that idea of an anniversary ring! I would like to create a ring one day in honor of my beans. Not sure what that would look like just yet but I thought somehow that it would be neat to try to design. My rings are platinum as well but I am almost thinking of going gold possibly?!!? You have given me ideas friend! Happy week to you! Nicole xo

  14. These are beautiful pieces! I do love custom jewelry. Growing up in the Panama Canal Zone, there was a jeweler who was a friend to the family in Panama city. He made custom jewelry for all the family. So my mom has some beautiful original pieces that are very different from what you might see at a chain jewelry store.

  15. I love the story of your engagement ring. We didn't get the opportunity to do a "one of a kind" experience with our rings when we got engaged/married but, perhaps on our anniversary we will change things up! =D

  16. I love the idea of customized jewelry and you sure are lucky to have your ring finished in the way you had wanted. It is a ring for life so it is nice to be able to get it exactly the way you want it. Mine was picked out by a husband since I was in a different country. The poor man did all the work.

It's beautiful to be able to get something specially made and yet friendly within our budget affordability! They have some really detailed designed rings I see. I do love your choice of anniversary ring (don't think too hard *_^) all will be yours if it is meant to be!

Hope you will have a lovely wedding anniversary celebration, no matter how big or small the occasion maybe, most importantly is that you both are still very much connected and together, sharing the love for each other, I feel!

  26. My engagement ring was a custom made one too. I was very touched that Stu was able to pick out the diamond and cut and little details and get it so right and perfect. We got our wedding bands made by the same jeweller too. Anjolee sounds amazing!

  35. For sure custom is the way to go if it is affordable for you as it makes it a one of a kind piece. I was not familiar with this site, but their jewelry looks lovely and prices look good too. I think the anniversary ring sounds like a good idea to me!!
