Breast Cancer Awareness

Breast Cancer Awareness, Breast Cancer Awareness Facts

I didn't want to let October close out without mentioning that it's Breast Cancer Awareness Month. You can shop for products that benefit BCA but more importantly, schedule a checkup if you're due or if you have a family history of cancer and make sure you know the facts about this disease and how to reduce your risk. Life is too short and too precious, so make the most of it and take the best care of yourself!

Hi Rowena, this is so very important. I have family history, unfortunately, awareness month should be not only one but all the year around. Prevention can save life and reduce risk. Hope you have a wonderful weekend my dear, I also want to wish you a very Happy Halloween, I can imagine how NYC looks now!:) Many hugs! xo

I knew October was a Breast Cancer month and I saw many posts about it and I love that! It's such a bad thing but I believe that if it's found on time, the worst can be prevented. Thanks for sharing this, see how simple are all these things but important. I am trying to lead a healthy life but one can never know. It's important to take care of your health indeed! Have a lovely day!

Thank you for spreading awareness without an illusion to the sexualizaion of women's breasts! I feel like all breast cancer awareness month accomplishes is plastering "save the boobies" everywhere, targeted towards men to encourage them to donate to save their own sexual desires -_-. This is the first actual information sheet I've seen all month, so thank you for that!

Great that you are raising awareness! We had an info session at my work place but I couldn't attend unfortunately. There are so many little things we can do for our health but too often we need reminders to do so.

Of course you could not let October go w/o mentioning that it is BCA month. I love the infographic here. It seems lie infrographic is all the rage now to present information simply and clearly. Thank you for this awareness. I haven't gone for a check for a few years. I should schedule an appointment soon.

RYC:
Not only a beautiful butterfly garden, our tiny country's only airport has got 3 terminals (and 2 upcoming under construction) and it is full of wonderful stuff! Lots of shopping and dining too. It was quite difficult to find good Asian eateries when I was in NYC a few years back. It is a surprise though coz I thought NYC is a melting pot of cultures with definitely many Chinese around. I hope some great Taiwanese restaurants open soon!

Welp, this post was useful for me, since my mom was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. Luckily, it was detected early and was removed last month, but still, since it runs in the family, its always important to know the facts and share the word!
