A Farmacy Beauty Review And Giveaway

Farmacy Beauty Giveaway

I've been making a move towards natural skincare but I haven't gone all in yet because I haven't been fully convinced that natural products are as advanced in terms of anti-aging innovations. After trying out a few Farmacy Beauty products, I've not only been impressed with their unique "farm to table" approach to skincare and that their line of products made of naturally derived ingredients actually work and live up to their claims. So I've reviewed their Coconut Gel Mask, New Day Gentle Exfoliating Grains and Invincible Root Cell Anti Aging Serum. Today I'll be reviewing the Sleep Tight Firming Night Balm and I also have a little giveaway for this product.

About the Brand: Made with farm grown botanicals, Farmacy Beauty blends age-old wisdom with cutting-edge technologies. The brand has teamed up with local farmers in Upstate New York to create a unique line of irritant-free, bioactive skincare. The scientists and lab behind Farmacy are innovative experts in cosmetic formulation and research, and seek out nature’s most novel yet effective ingredients. Their products are free of parabens, sulfates, phthalates, formaldehyde and artificial coloring and never tested on animals.

Product Claims: This Sleep Tight Firming Night Balm is an innovative renewing lightweight night treatment that transforms into a gentle, moisturizing oil gel. This balm is designed for people ages 30 and up with dry, normal, or combination skin types.

Farmacy Beauty Giveaway

Key Ingredients: Extract of Acmella, a South African plant that stimulates collagen and provides firmness. Blackcurrant seed, balloon vine extract and sunflower oil nourish, protect and reinforce the skin’s barrier. Stabilized vitamin C, and vegetable-derived “retinoid-like” ingredients help prevent the appearance of early wrinkles, minimize the look of deep wrinkles, and improve skin radiance and texture. Like all Farmacy products, this product is also formulated with their unique patent protected Echinacea GreenEnvy which has the highest known concentration of the phytochemical Cichoric Acid, a potent natural antioxidant which helps protect and firm the skin by inhibiting the enzymes that break down collagen.

Packaging: A sleek and minimal glass jar with a screw off wooden top. It would have been nice if this product came with a tiny spatula since it's kind of unhygienic to reach in with your fingers. Overall the clean and modern design of the packaging of this brand is very appealing.

Price: $48 for 1.7 fl oz / 50 ml

Farmacy Beauty Giveaway

How To Use: Use nightly on clean skin. Warm a small amount between palms before lightly applying onto skin. Blend with upward and outward motions.

My Thoughts: Following directions, I've been using this treatment as the last layer of my nightly skincare routine for just over a week in place of my usual night cream. This product is in balm form in the package and it has a light herbal citrus scent. Using my own skin care spatula, I usually scoop out a tiny amount onto my fingers and let it emulsify before applying it to my face. It softens up to a gel oil texture. I had some initial concerns that it might be greasy but was pleased when it would absorb into my skin without any type of residue. It provides an ample amount of hydration and I've been waking up to firm, smooth and plumped skin every morning since using it. I think it works especially well in conjunction with the brand's Invincible Root Cell Anti Aging Serum that I just reviewed last week. My skin tends to be especially dry during the winter months and I can see this being an effective moisturizer that will keep my skin from flaking when it's cold. I'm pretty sure it has some soothing properties as well. I had some redness on my cheeks when one night. I applied this over them all of it was gone the next day. This is another solid product.

Farmacy Beauty kindly sent me some deluxe size samples to spread the love and I have six jars of Sleep Tight Firming Night Balm to give away. This is an international giveaway that starts November 2, 2015 and ends November 10, 2015. You can enter through this link or the Rafflecopter widget below. The widget can be a little temperamental so if it doesn't load on this page, just CLICK THROUGH HERE FOR IT. Good luck!

Farmacy Beauty Giveaway

Sleep Tight Firming Night Balm is available through the Farmacy Beauty website as well as Sephora and QVC in the US. The brand can also be found at Sephora in Canada and they have plans to expand their global reach next year. Check out my other Farmacy Beauty reviews!

Disclosure: These were PR samples provided to me from the brand. There was no other compensation and all opinions and words are my own.

I always feel very comfortable using natural beauty brands. They may not always be as effective, but often they can be quite impressive. In fact, they can sometimes be even better than what technology has to offer, so it is all about making the right choices. I think we can have the best of both worlds...why not try both the modern skin care and the natural one?:)

Anyhow, this cocoa gel sounds very promising....perfect for skin in winter months. I joined in the giveaway.

p.s. we have a lot of nicknames for one another too:)

I love the Deep Down Detox Ultra Cleansing Mud Mask by Formula 10.0.6 it just seems to work really nicely for my skin and isn't too harsh or overly scented.

So far, I am liking the ingredients, and must try this brand. I've heard good things so far. I am always particular for skincare since I have several allergies, so this sounds promising, especially for the change in season. I'm a fan of the farm to table philosophy too, especially culinary-wise. Thanks for the review. /Madison

You've read my mind girl. I've actually thought of natural skin care but was hesitant for some strange reason. I love the items I'm using but I just want to see if other items to take care of other skin care issues I have. So thank you for writing about this beauty find and I love the giveaway.

i love natural beauty products in general (i used suki for a while) -- i was first driven to use them because i didn't want to use something that tested on animals. unfortunately i haven't converted 100% but definitely making the attempt to to use natural, organic and cruelty free products.

I like your reviews Rowena! You bring up a good point about those "natural" cosmetics. Most of the products with active ingredients that are sold in (for example) a Dermatology office have white paper, clinical data studies done on the efficacy of a product (their "claims"). I have to be careful recommending products with lots of botanicals to my patients because of the potential for irritation.

Great info!
