Yadah Natural Cosmetics

Yadah Review, Yadah Oh My Sun Slush, Yadah All Day Cushion, Yadah Anti Trouble, Yadah Anti Trouble Bubble Cleanser, Yadah Anti-T Red Zero Spot Cream

I've often talked about how much I enjoy discovering new beauty brands. BB Cosmetic who turned me onto MakeRemake recently introduced me to Yadah and they sent along a few of the Korean beauty brand's latest product launches which can be conveniently purchased from Amazon and Amazon Prime at that. Pretty cool. The accessibility of K-beauty products has sure come a long way.

Yadah is a Hebrew word which means wisdom. Yadah is also the name of the impish little girl depicted on their packaging. The brand which was launched in 2009 offers a range of natural skincare and makeup products formulated with ECOCERT certified organic plant extracts; essential oils, floral water, barks and traditional herbs that work in perfect harmony with the skin. Their gentle yet effective formulas are hypoallergenic and 100% free from artificial coloring, parabens, preservatives, mineral oil, sulfates and animal extracts of any kind.  They use natural ingredients like native Korean organic eastern prickly pear (opuntia humifusa) which has anti-inflammatory benefits that soothe skin from stress. Other select natural ingredients include organic lemon and orange water, sage and rosemary.

Yadah Review, Yadah Oh My Sun Slush Review, Yadah All Day Cushion, Yadah Anti Trouble
Yadah Review, Yadah Oh My Sun Slush Review, Yadah All Day Cushion, Yadah Anti Trouble

A unique slush type sun care product that combines the nourishing goodness of prickly pear cactus and capsules with BMF (Botanical Moisturizing Factors) to soothe, moisturize and shield skin with SPF 50 UVA/UVB protection.

Key Ingredients: Organic Prickly Pear Cactus Extract (56%) and transparent moisturizing capsules made with Portulaca Extract, Paper Birch Tree Sap & Thorny Bamboo Sap.

Packaging: A bright chartreuse flat tube with a twist off cap.

Price: $16.98 for 50 mL

My Impressions: Ok how fun is that slush packaging! I was immediately curious about the slush texture of this product. It actually feels silky and watery and the microcapsules of moisture burst and sink into the skin when you rub it. Prickly pear cactus which contains 5 times as much Vitamins A & C as aloe, effectively moisturizes and soothes the skin. It also has flavonoids with anti-inflammatory benefits which is a nice feature in a sunscreen.  I was impressed by how well it sinks into the skin without any stickiness or traces of that telltale sunscreen white cast. It is definitely hydrating but not greasy, creating a smooth base for makeup. I also found it easy to remove and didn't experience any reactive issues. This product does have a strong floral scent which I didn't love but was willing to overlook since it is really good otherwise. This is one of those instances when being able to turn off your sense of smell comes in handy.

Yadah Review, Yadah Oh My Sun Slush, Yadah All Day Cushion, Yadah Anti Trouble, Yadah Anti Trouble Bubble Cleanser, Yadah Anti-T Red Zero Spot Cream

A long lasting full coverage and moisturizing cushion compact with triple function sun protection brightening and anti-aging benefits. The mochi cushion is designed with a moisture evaporation prevention system that keeps the cushion fresh since the product is dispensed only when you depress it.

Key Ingredients: Lavender (LavandulaAngustifolia) Flower Water, Lichen (UsneaBarbata) Extract, Zanthoxylum Piperitum Fruit Extract & Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract

Packaging: Pretty much your standard non-refillable cushion compact with a rubycell puff.

Price: $20.98 for 15g  e 0.52 oz.

My Impressions: I believe this product only comes in one shade #21 Light beige. I usually wear #23 in Korean cosmetics so I was a little concerned it would be too light for me but somehow it wasn't. This product offers buildable coverage and you can easily go sheer to medium depending on your preference. I would say the finish is satin since it's neither matte nor dewy. Upon initial application, I felt the moisturizing effects and it was quite comfortable. After a few hours, it became more matte and wasn't agreeing as well with my dry skin and I don't happen to wear powder. I was able to offset the dryness with a facial essence spray but I think this cushion might work better in the summer for me. It was easy to remove with double cleansing and I didn't have any reactive issues. One thing I didn't particularly care for was the strong floral meets soap scent quite typical and prevalent in the realm of K-beauty products. I didn't love this cushion and didn't find it to be anywhere as moisturizing as it claims to be and having just one shade is limiting.

Yadah Review, Yadah Anti Trouble Review, Yadah Anti Trouble Bubble Cleanser, Yadah Anti-T Red Zero Spot Cream
Yadah Review, Yadah Anti Trouble Review, Yadah Anti Trouble Bubble Cleanser Review, Yadah Anti-T Red Zero Spot Cream

Yadah Anti Trouble Bubble Cleanser
A mild foaming bubble cleanser with a pH level similar to skin so it protects the sebum moisture membrane leaving skin soft. Amino acids extracted from natural coconut oil cleanse and control excessive oil on troubled skin without stripping it.

Key Ingredients: Green Tea Extract, Aloe Vera Gel, Rosemary Extract, Sage Extract

Packaging: A plastic bottle with a pump dispenser

Price: $21.98 for 150 mL

My Impressions: Thankfully I don't have troubled skin and when I tried this cleanser I was pleased with how it left my skin feeling thoroughly cleansed and soft with no hint of dryness at all despite the oil control properties. Bubble cleansers dispense as a fluffy cloud of foam which can make them quite fun to use. This one was no different. It a faint herbal scent that was actually pleasant and felt really soft and silky on the skin. It worked well as the second step of a double cleanse removing all traces of my makeup. Even though this is probably formulated more for combination/oily skin types, people with dry skin would be able to use it without any issues. My husband who has oily skin also thought it was an effective, non-drying cleanser.

Yadah Review, Yadah Anti Trouble Review, Yadah Anti Trouble Bubble Cleanser, Yadah Anti-T Red Zero Spot Cream Review

Yadah Anti-T Red Zero Spot Cream
A gentle yet effective spot treatment made with patented natural soothing ingredients that heals from insides out while controlling excessive sebum secretions and soothing troubled skin.

Key Ingredients: Green Tea Extract, Aloe Vera Gel, Rosemary Extract, Sage Extract

Packaging: A slim tube with a pump dispenser

Price: $16.98 for 15ml 0.5fl.oz

My Impressions: I was able to use this product in combination with my beloved CosRx Pimple Acne Master Patches to successfully stave off the beginnings of a few spots on my face and anything that can help prevent a full blown breakout is a winner in my book. It's a lightweight white cream that turns clear once rubbed and it has the same subtle herbal scent as the cleanser. I can't speak to how well it would work with a major pimple but's pretty effective at calming and lessening redness in minor spots.

I'm really glad to see more natural beauty products coming out of Korea and it was nice to get acquainted with this brand.  My favorite had to be the Sun Slush. Yadah Natural Cosmetics are available for sale from BB Cosmetic through Amazon/Amazon Prime. You can click on the names for links to purchase.

What do you think of these products? Is there one you'd want to try?

Yadah seems like a wonderful natural beauty brand. I like the name and what it stands for. That illustrated girl is also adorable.

Sun screen is important in Winter too, this year I started using sun cream all year long. That sun slush seems so lovely. It is good to know that it is silky and absorbs well. That slush packaging is also very cute. It is good that you were able to turn off your smell sense and ignore the floral scent you don't like because it does seem like a lovely product.

Mochi cushion also seems like a great product...and the Bubble anti trouble cleaner sounds nice too, even if one doesn't have troubled skin, it is good to know that it left your skin feeling fresh and clean. Seems like all the products were really nice!

Thanks for the heads up on this brand, Rowena:) I love how you keep us all up to date especially on KBrands:D I really like the sound of all these products, and the packaging is just too cute. I think this is one of the reasons I like buying KStuff too...they make skincare that works AND fun to sue as well. If I have to pick one, I'd probably try the acne spot treatment first.

I would not have been able to resist the sun slush - the packaging is so irresistible. Sounds like the products you've tried are great except for the cushion.

I am curious to try any Korean skincare products, so far they have not been in my routine for various reasons. The cushion foundations not so much, somehow that kind of packaging doesn't speak to me that much.

Hi Rowena. I have no doubts Korean beauty products are one of the best on the market, and I would love to try any of them. I haven't heard of Yadah Natural Cosmetics. The product I'd love to try would be the cushion, as I have oily skin and I do use cushion on a daily basis. All of the products sound nice though. Have a lovely day ahead, Rowena!xo

Thanks for the new brand introduction! How handy their products are available to be purchased via Amazon :) It's a pity the foundation cushion only comes in one shade, that's very unusual! Anyway, hope you're having a lovely week so far Rowena :)
