Recent photographs provide a captivating glimpse inside 31 Rue Cambon otherwise known as the address of the legendary Coco Chanel. The apartment which was primarily used as an atelier and also for entertaining has remained as she left it and reveals a rather traditional sense of decor as well as her great affection for Oriental styles and motifs. Mlle. Chanel believed in the healing power of crystals and was apparently quite superstitious. That entryway Art Deco mirrored spiral staircase where she used to watch for audience reactions to her shows always manages to take my breath away. More at The Coveteur

I love very much the last photo!
These are breathtaking! I always love getting a glimpse inside :) xoxo
That staircase is amazing, with the mirrors it must be such a great {and perhaps dizzying?} walk down.
I haven't seen a chandelier quite like that either, it's beautiful.
sigh... BEAU-TI-FUL. the library!! I would love to have a whole shelf of books as a wall one day!
My gosh this is gorgeous! That chandelier is beautiful! So very Coco Chanel

Wow this place is absolutely gorgeous. I'd love to visit a place like that. It looks like my kind of home
Exquisite! When she had shows there, she would watch the models through the glass leading down the staircase. I love that it had so many levels. If I can remember it's like 4 of them (store, dressing rooms, private place, workshop). A great place to work and rest. She lived at The Ritz. How fabulous is that! I love that couch!
