I often find images where you don't see the face of a person to be more compelling and that it adds another dimension to the visual story. I guess that might be kind of funny coming from someone who photographs people quite often.

That is a very keen observation. I sometimes get the same impression, and also of photos showing parts of an outfit. The Bottega Veneta coat is beautiful. :)

I agree. As much as I like to see facial expressions, I think not being able to see one in a photo makes for a really interesting shot. Some of my best photos are of people from behind.
