VII Code Oxygen Eye Mask for Dark Circles

VII Code Oxygen Eye Mask, VII Code Review

I'm generally pretty good about taking care of the skin around my eyes which is important since this area is both delicate and prone to showing signs of aging. I'm convinced this is why I really don't have many fine lines/ wrinkles there but I am vexed by dark circles and these aren't really cute unless you're a panda. Dark circles can be caused by a number of factors including but not limited to genetics, lack of sleep, heredity, allergies, stress, fluid retention, aging and sun exposure. I had previously tried the VIIcode O2M Oxygen Eye Masks and they worked well to refresh and smooth my under eye area but didn't do much for my dark circles. When the brand asked if I wanted to try this product that specifically targets my number one eye issue, I had to say yes.

Product Claims: The VIIcode O2M Oxygen Eye Mask for Dark Circles is a natural and vegan product that works to help to activate cell memory and promote cell metabolism around the eyes to re-activate the oxygen intake of blood which helps to rid puffiness, wrinkles and eliminate dark circles.

About the Brand:
VIIcode (pronounced "vee-two") is a high-end royal brand which was established in the 18th century. It was originally a gift of 'eternal youth'' created by Dr. Byrne Victor for Queen Josephine (the wife of Napoleon) and it due to it's magical results, the formula was ordered to be kept secret for 100 years.

Key Ingredients: Ecological Oxygen Plant Extraction (EOPE) from the rare plant vadaniya, that inhabits the hillsides in the Alps to repair repair the skin around the eyes, reduce dark circles, prevent wrinkles, crow’s feet, dryness and sagging. Deep sea biological extracts of resurrection fern and welwitschia mirabilis to boost radiance.

My Impressions: This eye mask provides a continuous 8 hours of treatment so they're best used at night. The effects are boosted as the nutrients work while you sleep. They're made of an Active Hydrogel Matrix that gives off a slight cooling sensation when you first apply them. They're just sticky enough adhere to the skin and stay in place but gentle enough that you can easily reposition them if necessary. I'm not a still sleeper and the masks didn't move through the night when I used them. Now they didn't immediately make my dark circles disappear but I did look more well rested after just one use and after 3 nights, I could see more of a visible reduction and my under eye area was incredibly smooth as well. The mask itself feels quite soothing and I didn't experience any sensitivity or irritation while using it. For best results, the brand recommends using the mask 2 - 3 times a week with 3 boxes for a full course of treatment for best results. This would be great but it would also be expensive. While it's not totally prohibitive, I would consider this more of a splurge treatment rather than a necessity. I don't think my dark circles are that bad but if they ever get worse, I would probably turn to this mask.

The VIIcode O2M Oxygen Mask for Dark Circles is available on Amazon. VIIcode is giving rolala loves readers a discount of $5 off with the code MUHJP7Q3.You can learn more about the brand and their line of products through their website.

Have you ever used an eye treatment mask of any kind? How did it work?

I need to start treating my skin and circles under my eyes before it's too late! Love the review. Interesting how it works, pricey but will look into it!

I've only used eye patches once, and they were from Rodial. I definitely saw a bit of an improvement after I used them though, so I'd like to try more eye masks in the future.

I got such horrible dark circles so for me they would be ideal even though the price is truly so prohibitive. Im sure they are still worth it, especially to use during the night. Eyes area is my weakness, yours is perfect! Happy weekend Rowena! xo

Sadly I don't think the product exists that will get rid of my dark circles!

I agree the eye area is delicate and requires a lot of care. I haven't used any eye mask for dark circles specifically. These are quite pricey though. But it seems that it's worth the price, when you've noticed the change after just one use. Thanks for the discount code, Rowena! Have a nice weekend! xo

I feel like dark circles are mostly down to genetics and thus products can only do a little to lighten them. But I do love eye masks, and enjoy them for a luxurious feeling treatment as well.

I currently have dark eye circles but I find that most products only scratch the surface when targeting this particular problem. Which is why I'm still looking for my holy grail product. Loved this review Rowena.

Yes that is the thing with these type of masks they are pricey. But good for an important event coming up like a wedding. But yes $173 on a regular basis would add up. I need something for fluid retention under the eye.

This sounds really nice. If it will work on dark circles even slowly I would love to give it a try.

If there's one part on my face that I don't think I take enough care of, it's my under eyes. I've never used an under eye treatment in my life. I'll probably not splurge on a treatment as of now but it's good to keep something effective in my radar!

Interesting. I've struggled with dark circles a lot, never really tried anything to combat them either. I didn't think there was anything out there that was really genuine in terms of claims!

Woa, these are expensive! Nice that you got the sample to try! ;) I have less dark circles than bags under my eyes (I'm perpetually sleep deprived haha). I wonder if there are natural remedies for that...(that are not sleeping more hahaha)

I haven't heard of this mask prior to reading your review but it sounds interesting. 8 hours is a long time, but if we wear it while sleeping (as we should), it shouldn't be complicated to use it...and maybe the prolonged application makes it more effective?

Eye mask for dark circles, Rowena? Sounds like a really good idea for me! I have quite bad dark circles, simply due to the fact that I have very bad and sensitive nose allergy (okie, and the late nights, and all). These look quite big in size though, but I guess it means good then, because more surface area of the under eye can be covered and get more of that vegan nutrients, huh?

Wow! Best kept secret for more than a 100 years. It must be super good then, though this is my first time hearing it though.

Glad that it did work for you, to a certain degree though I have to agree with you, it's more of a luxury treatment due to the price.

Thanks for sharing this. Hope you are having a great week despite the cold winter weather in NYC now...
