I've lost track of how steps I have in my current skincare routine (it varies based on AM/PM and the condition of my skin) but at any time, it always includes a serum or two. I actually consider serums as important as moisturizer and maybe even more in some ways since they often contain the highest concentration of active ingredients and are designed specifically to target specific skin concerns. I was quite excited to try the Innarah Line Smoothing Treatment Serum Oxygenated Moisture Serum since I had such a good experience with the Innarah Veno Defense Hydrating Treatment Créme which I'm still using.
About the Brand: Backed by decades of research, by one of the beauty industry’s leading chemists, Innarah has created the first ever skin care line that works in cooperation with your skin’s biology. Their range is made using a revolutionary fermentation process that combines blends of unique natural botanical oils and minerals. This process creates highly effective products that maintain the potency of the ingredients so they can be easily absorbed while encouraging the skin’s own reparative abilities and optimizing vital defense from the inside out. Each Innarah product is purposely formulated to address specific skin issues due to natural aging and environmental factors, offering benefits to nourish, purify and re-energize skin. They do not contain any parabens, petroleum, propylene or butylene glycol, sulfates, phthalates, artificial dyes or synthetic fragrances.
Product Claims: Innarah Line Smoothing Treatment Serum is a multi-benefit product that helps to repair and protect skin from environmental challenges and combat chronological aging while dramatically firming and toning. It instantly brightens skin and smooths the appearance of lines and wrinkles while protecting it from environmental challenges over time.
Key Ingredients: Marine phytoplankton, a powerful immuno-stimulant, from the combination of unique red and brown marine algae provides essential oxygen to skin cells and stimulates collagen production while it strengthens the connective tissues for firmer looking skin. Alpine rose extract delays the aging process. Malus domestica fruit cell extract prevents the aging of essential cells and is an anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory. Elk antler velvet have powerful cell growth factors that aid in cell development and regeneration. EVA contains essential amino acids which are the building block of protein. Sea buckthorn fruit oil, mangosteen extract and magnolia tree bark all provide powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits. Tetra peptide 3 complex diminishes the appearance of lines and wrinkles. Plant stem cells even out and brighten skin instantly.
Packaging: A minimal looking opaque black glass bottle. The product is hygienically dispensed via a dropper.
Price: $175 for 30ml/1 fl oz
How to Use: Apply a few drops to face, neck and orbital eye area day and/or night.
My Impressions: The Innarah Line Smoothing Treatment Serum is white in color with a silky smooth texture that kind of resembles runny milk. There is a slight scent to it which I don't really know how to describe but it's barely discernible anyway. This serum has a lightweight and refreshing feel when applied A little goes a long way and I only need two drops to cover my entire face. It absorbs readily and feels nourishing on the skin and since it is also billed as an oxygenated moisture serum, I'd expect as much. Since my skin is dry, I always follow with a moisturizer but I think this product could actually be moisturizing enough on it's own for those with oily skin especially during the summer. I've been using it nightly for just over two weeks and have been able to see a visible difference in the radiance and clarity of my skin. I've also noticed that an errant fine line in the furrow of my brow that has been vexing me has diminished. These positive results have certainly been pleasing. This serum is a little on the pricey side but if I use it in place of all my essences, ampoules and other serums, the cost could actually be justified. After a quick tally, the price of all of them add up to roughly the same as this serum alone. I'm not sure how I feel about going to less steps in my skincare since everything I use has a specific benefit and I actually already skipped a few layers with this serum. I definitely like it in conjunction with my other products but I'm going to try using it alone for awhile to get a more accurate gauge on the multi- benefit results to see if it's worth forgoing all my other skincare layers. I will say that the line smoothing and brightening effects are real and have been impressive so far.
Innarah Line Smoothing Treatment Serum is available for sale through the Innarah website where you can also learn more about the brand and their full range of products.

Great that you are happy with this product and can actually see results. I used to have Estée Lauder's night repair serum but I haven't used it for a couple of years now. A good product though.

My skin care regimen is quite extensive and I layer a lot, so I'd definitely have to get used to simplifying the whole thing too.
This serum sounds great!!! I need to try it!

I do use serums, as they are lighter compared to creams for my mixed skin. I noticed recently, that I already have a line on my forehead, so I need to start thinking about using such products. It's nice that you saw an improvement. Although it is a bit pricey indeed, the important thing is that this product seems to be effective. Happy Monday, Rowena!xo
Serums are a very important step for me as well, and I use at least one am or pm. And while I am willing to pay a little more on my skincare, that one is really pricey, so it would take me several days of thinking to see if I could justify it.

I love serums, so I am pleased to see your thoughts on this one. I've not heard of it before!
Great post. Want to try this one!

I will like to try it sound amazing.
Just looking at the ingredients makes this serum a win for sure. I used to think super expensive skincare products are not worth it (for me anyhoo) but lately, I've come to realize that hey, if it works, my face is worth it! :D I've been using the It's Skin serum with arbutin lately, but I bought the Missha Time Revolution Night Repair one and can't wait to include that in my routine:)
This sounds like a great product, although slightly pricey. I've only used Sea Buckhorn juice in my culinary diet, which is good, but not in my the oil from it in skincare. I love serums, currently just use a couple of serums, and only one is a fairly new addition by Caudalie. Happy Monday!
sounds like a great find :) lately i've been trying out steam creams and ferment products.

This actually sounds really good and would be something that I would consider despite the high price tag. I'm with you on feeling unsure about cutting down the steps on my skincare routine, everything and every step has a purpose to my skin.

I've totally been skimping on my skincare lately, this post has made me realise I need to step it up!! I love a good serum, they are the bit I spend most on in my routine.

Nice! It's always cool when a product lives up to its claims. I really need to find a new serum that is moisturizing and can minimize (aka get rid of!) fine lines!
It does sound like a lovely product. Wouldn't it be great if it could replace all the others and make your beauty routine a lot easier? I'm curious as to whether you'll find it nourturing enough to replace the others. You will know best once when you tried it on its own. It is great to hear that it works well on your skin and even if it is not as multipractical as it may seem, I'm sure it is still a nice product. I don't think I will be trying it out but only because the price is over my budget, otherwise it does sound pretty amazing.
How are you doing? Is it hot in NY? Here the roofs are melting:) which is fine since I like Summer and all but I've started avoiding going outside if I don't have to...If I can, I wait until the sun sets:)

This serum sounds pretty decent, I like the effect it has on frown lines. I need something to address this problem so may check this out.

This serum sounds great but a little pricey :)
It's great that it's working for you - especially since it's so expensive, it would be really bad if it didn't deliver on it's claims despite being costly! :)

Have a good week, dear Rowena!!!

Great review sweetheart...thx for sharing!
I have some smile/frown lines! LOL I bet this would work for me. Rowena, I'm laughing about your number of skincare steps. I have the same problem and I keep adding as I get older. LOL So if this replaces some of those go for it.

Skincare is so important to me, and I've been wanting to add more serums to my skincare regimen. I haven't heard of this brand, but the products sound really interesting!
It's a little pricey! But if it works it's worth it. I'm currently using a serum by Antipodes. I love it! It's so light and hydrating.
Have a good day ❤
Serums are an essential part of my skin care routine too. This one sounds great!
ahhh yes, Rowena. I remember reading about your previous review on this brand, the logo is memorable and I remember you having a good experience with that one.
Looks like this one fairs well for you too. Love the fact that the ingredients are made up of quite a diverse range - from the underwater to tropical fruit! Amazing how skincare these days work in harmony even with varied components of ingredients. Lovely indeed.
Yes, serum is crucial in our skincare regime, mine too *_^
Hope you are having a fabulous week so far.

i am definitely more conscious about taking care of my skin now and have purchased a few things from sephora recently and a few more from amazon. i tried skin18 website? and wasn't too pleased - but i do have a serum in my routine now as well and love it. i'm still trying and experimenting and figuring out what works for my skin! But the process is definitely worth doing!
