Excited about Spring though to be fair, winter has been quite mild in NYC even though we did get come snow.

Reading...
This timely book examines the world algorithms, how they're created and how they work through technology and society. A consistent message is that our algorithmically sorted lives are increasingly void of value which I would agree with as I feel as I constantly served suggestions which I have zero interest in. It's quite fascinating and not at all surprising to learn that most algorithms are tailored to the priorities of corporations and paying advertisers rather than actual viewer interests.

Watching...
This isn't a new drama but it is one that had been on our watch list for awhile. I remembered it since we've been watching Park Hyung Sik in Doctor Slump. Happiness is a thriller about the residents of a high-rise apartment building trying to survive an outbreak of an infectious disease after their complex is quarantined. This has been done before but the difference here is that people can  regain their consciousness and fight becoming zombies. Of course it highlights how people are the real monsters just like in the real pandemic and beyond.

Loving...
These nontoxic sponges are like magic erasers for jewelry easily removing dirt, buildup and tarnish. It works like a charm on my rings and my silver jewelry is like new again.

Eating...
We have salmon a few times a week so I'm always looking for new ways to prep it. This salmon quinoa bowl is both flavorful and easy. The recipe includes green beans, tomatoes and olives but the vegetable components are easily interchangeable with whatever I have on hand. It's so good with anything from spinach, to broccoli to brussels sprouts or salad greens. This recipe is a total keeper and it will be great in the warmer months.

Enjoying....
ChocZero is my go to for an occasional sweet treat without sugar. They've made a dark chocolate version of their Keto Royal Truffle which I love even more. This decadent dark 70% cacao chocolate with a rich ganache and roasted hazelnut at the center is like a Ferrero Rocher without the sugar and made with much better ingredients. It's dairy free and delicious.

Sporting...
My prescription hasn't changed for a few years so I got a new pair of glasses. These clear and rose gold frames from Firmoo are really cute. Pic taken on my terrace after a workout. I'm still doing the hormesis/vitamin D wind down as part of my morning routine. I'm still into slightly oversized frames.

Wearing..
I'm happy to say that all of my recent clothing acquisitions are timeless wardrobe staples like this lightweight striped sweater from French brand Rodier which is made to last. I'm really committed to building a sustainable wardrobe.

Looking forward to...
The Cherry Blossoms
We have an upcoming trip to see the cherry blossoms in DC and we can't wait. Cherry Blossoms are one of my most favorite photography subjects. Here is one of my photo studies and have you ever seen snow covered cherry blossoms? It’s quite stunning to behold!

The book about algorithms and how they are programmed to benefit large corporations is attractive to me, like you I feel that this does not surprise me, I remember having seen that series or a very similar one on Netflix, on the other hand the sponges to clean the jewelry has awakened my curiosity. Kisses.
