I’m not a makeup person, but I love a good tinted moisturizer because it’s like skincare with a side of confidence. I've invested a lot of time in my skincare so I want to take back that time and invest it in my morning routine instead of applying makeup. That said, I do want to appear polished and more awake yet natural so I generally do wear a BB cream or tinted moisturizer, to even out my tone and add a fresh faced glow for that your skin but better look.

That’s why I was so curious to try the mixsoon PDRN Collagen Tinted Moisturizer, a K-beauty product  getting a lot of viral buzz lately. Building on their reputation as a premium Korean skincare brand known for achieving the coveted glass skin look, mixsoon takes the next step with the launch of their PDRN Collagen Tinted Moisturizer Collection. After a month of testing in real-life conditions (through hot days, quick errands, and even a light workout), here’s my full review.

My shade is No. 27 Unseen and it blends seamlessly to match my skin tone. Coverage is buildable from sheer to medium, customizable for a bare skin glow or polished finish. It is perfect for blurring redness, evening out discoloration, and imparting that “your skin but better” vibe. The finish is radiant with a barely there feel and just enough coverage for a natural yet luminous appearance. You can easily adjust it to your preference.

It wears well over my skincare and with my sun protection without any pilling or irritation. Since I've been testing it during a hot humid NYC summer, I will say in terms of wear, it lives up to the clinical trial claims. Even after hours, the color stays true without oxidizing, caking or creasing and it doesn’t separate or cling to dry patches. Very impressed with how well it stands up to heat and humidity all while remaining lightweight and breathable.

So I’m not covering up my skin, I’m just giving it a gentle, healthy boost. Heavy foundations can feel like a mask which is why I stopped wearing them but this tinted moisturizer is light and breathable and applies seamlessly. I would definitely recommend this product combination because it is like a real life filter for my skin! It's just me, only a little more polished.

I think I like it even more than my beloved CLE Cosmetics CCC Cream which I've used for years.The only thing that would make it even better is if it also provided sun protection but I'd still wear sunblock anyway so that's fine. Also at $22, it is a very good value. If you wear makeup, it’s perfect for no-makeup makeup days, casual outings, or when you want your skin to look fresh and healthy without the weight of foundation.
