Beauty : Mary Jo Matsumoto 4Free Nail Color

I've been wearing Mary Jo Matsumoto's Naked State of Mind nail varnish for a good part of the past month and I'm in love. It's like the prettiest pearly pinkish nude shade. That's it on the right. The formulation is 4FREE which means that it doesn't contain any formaldehyde, dibutyl phthalate, toluene or camphor. I noticed that it doesn't have the strong foul chemical smell of most nail polishes and was impressed with how smoothly and evenly it applied and more importantly the long wear. This polish remained chip-free for over a week and lasted almost 2 weeks which is major for me. I'm quite excited about the new colors that Mary Jo has released for the fall.

The Caffeine Addiction 4FREE Trio which comes in delicious shades of Vanilla Latte Gratification, Coffee Addiction and Mood Altering Mocha will satisfy any neutral lover without the caffeine side effects.

The Laguna Libertine 4FREE collection features three fashion forward colors including Scandalous Lover - a chic wearable red, Bon Mots - a glamourous shimmery gold and Wilde Blue Yonder - a sophisticated shade of cobalt dedicated to Oscar Wilde.

For those of you not familiar with Mary Jo Matsumoto, she is a fabulously talented designer and a pretty cool lady as well. I would probably say that even if she wasn't a friend. Her blog Trust Your Style is full of stylish inspiration. These lovelies and more are available for sale at her online shop. And I should mention that they do ship worldwide. While you're there, make sure you also check out her luxurious line of handbags, totes and clutches. You can thank me later.

Gorgeous, I do love her polishes. I must get some sometime. I like that it's free from the horrible smelling chemicals as well. What I love most about them besides the colours is the names she creates for them as I must admit I often buy shades just from the name, haha!! She's such a sweet lady too, always love her blog and designs :)) Hope you have a great day lady lady!! xx

This is awesome. Nail polish is really harsh on my nails so I don't wear it often. I've been looking for a more natural option that might not do as much damage. Thanks so much for sharing!

Ooh thank you for introducing her and her product line Rowena. It is difficult to find nude shade nail polishes that dont need 5 coats to get the nice and evenly smooth results. These are just lovely.

I've seen some of Mary Jo's bags (which I adore) but I had no idea she did nail polish as well! Long lasting nail polish is hard to come by so I will definitely be checking this out.

I always love to know about products without harmful chemicals since I go for the "hippie" products for the most part. A nail polish without the nasty stink and chemicals is definitely a good thing especially if it goes on well and lasts.

All summer long I couldn't find anything with short sleeves, only sleeveless which I don't like all that much or cap sleeves which I hate. I wish I knew that you were finding sleeves :) next summer I'll be sure to ask you where you find them.
