I don't know about you but there's something about dermatologist backed skincare lines that have always been very appealing to me. Renowned dermatologist Karyn Grossman whose patients include some of the most famous faces in the world and has also worked with some of the biggest names in the skincare industry has created the KARYNG line of products to address a wide variety of skin concerns. The line works on a unique concept of “90% natural and 10% science" to harness the best of nature with the latest innovations in skincare.
All products in the KARYNG range are formulated with Pro-Verte Technology, a proprietary complex of powerful natural anti-aging and anti-inflammatory ingredients designed to combat the visible and harmful effects of inflammation while working to repair and restructure skin. They are GMO and gluten free, vegan, cruelty-free and do not contain any controversial ingredients, like known endocrine disruptors such as parabens, propylene or butylene glycols and phthalates. They do not include dimethicone, petroleum, pesticides, BHAs, PEGs, TEA, DEA, or synthetic fragrances. All KARYNG packaging is BPA free and the paper used for the cartons is harvested from sustainable forests in order to help preserve the environment.
KARYNG Complete Broad Spectrum SPF 50
Formulated with protective Echinacea Purpurea Extract, Coconut Oil, Titanium Dioxide, Zinc and Iron Oxide, KARYNG Complete Broad Spectrum SPF 50 is an all in one sunscreen, anti-aging moisturizer and makeup primer. This product is available in two tinted shades for a flawless glow.
$75 / 1.7 fl. oz
KARYNG Revitalizing Eye Cream
KARYNG Revitalizing Eye Cream is an energizing cream made with anti-oxidant Soybean Extract, rich Shea Butter and Karyng’s Pro-Verte Complex. It works to targets all eye concerns by helping to reduce fine lines, wrinkles, puffiness, and dark circles.
$70 /.5oz / 15ml
This product is very light with an almost watery feel. It applies smoothly and sinks in almost immediately. I had some concerns that it wouldn't be moisturizing enough since I normally tend to use more emollient eye products. It's feels fairly hydrating and my dark circles actually have been looking better lately but I can't be sure if that's due to better sleep, a new massage regimen or this eye cream. I do plan to keep using this though as well as keep up my other good habits.
KARYNG products are packaged in elegant looking airless pumps which happen to my favorite type of packaging for beauty since it's both hygienic and preserves the efficacy of the product and it's ingredients. It also scores pints for sleekness and a smaller footprint as well.
I haven't experienced any issues or irritation while using either of these products. I'm smitten with the KARYNG Complete Broad Spectrum SPF 50. I think this may the first sun protection product I've ever enjoyed wearing simply because it doesn't feel like sunscreen. There is absolutely no white cast and the product feels almost imperceptible on top of my skin. I love that it's an all in one timesaver that combines moisturizer and sunscreen as well as how it delivers noticeable skincare benefits. I like the Karyng Revitalizing Eye Cream well enough but it's not a game changer for me like the sunscreen which I would definitely repurchase.
The full KARYNG collection which also includes a Replenishing Cleanser, Retinol Renewing Serum, and Restructuring Night Cream is available through the brand's website.
What do you think of these products? Do you use a separate moisturizer and sunscreen?

Oo how interesting! The sunscreen sounds interesting. Especially for lazy/rushed mornings. But that sure is a pretty hefty price tag. Definitely going to have to save up if I want to try it.
They make me very curious and Id like to try them, I like the fact the look so light, plus the packaging is sleek indeed. Kisses Rowena! xo
I really hate sunscreen. So yeah, anything that provides sun protection without feeling like sunscreen is a winner in my book!
I like products that provide sunscreen one less step and its worth it love the packaging and how you display it.
Interesting revuew, thanks for sharing darling!

I love Dr Grossman, so I'll have to check out this line.
Oooooo...this line sounds like another winner! I actually really like the fact that the sunscreen works as a moisturizer as well. I use the Bioré one as my my combo sunscreen/moisturizer as well, but I'm pretty sure I'll have to start adding an actual moisturizer as soon as winter hits. I bought a Hado Labo one to use with it before, but I don't think my skin liked it so much. I bought an Innisfree one to try. Fingers crossed....
PS I just found out Netflix now has DOTS! I was so excited....hehe....I keep telling everyone to go watch it now.
I think I'll need to try that sunscreen - it sounds awesome, sweetie. Kisses
Wow! The first thing that catches my eyes is the packaging, really cool and lovely. And reading further, the ingredients and philosophy are even more appealing! Quite a game changer for the sun screen, combining moisturiser and sun screen, though I usually prefer to use them separately, and I like my sunscreen without the tint.
But since you mentioned the texture is so great that I wouldn't mind giving this a try actually, haha *_^
Sounds like summer is still lingering. I am doing all right, just fallen victim to bad flu on and off this past week, due to my ultra sensitive nose. My father-in-law has just came out of ICU after his bypass surgery, still recuperating. When I see him cough and he says pain due to his stitches, my bad sneezing does seem nothing compared to his... life is such.
We really do need to treasure our health more and more as we age now.
Take care! It's nice knowing a new skincare product, this sounds so promising already, Rowena.

Both sounds really lovely and I am with you on dermatologist created products and brands. I tend to trust them more as they really know what's best. Between the two, it's the sunscreen that appeals the most to me, will have to check how much it is in CAD.

Both products sound good, especially the sunscreen. You definitely convinced me you are happy with it and you will repurchase, Rowena. I also prefer airless pumps when it comes to such products. Happy Wednesday!xo
DO not know the brand... but I love the design!

I know what you mean about skincare backed dermatologists being appealing. I feel the same way. The sunscreen sounds fab, I always find other brands quite sticky on my skin!

Nice Review and very lovely pictures and presentation.
Well I love how much the environment is taken in to consideration and I would use just for that. If that eye cream works on puffiness I would be all over that!

The package is luxurious and looks to be absorbed quickly, the texture of the cream is very pleasant.

I usually use sunscreen only in the summer and trade the moisturizer for a richer serum. But the SPF you reviewed sounds amazing.

I am with you about the dermatologist skincare. Sounds like great products, I always use both moisturizer and sunscreen, although moist moisturizers come with a spf these days, but I am so used to it, like, the more the better, lol.

Glad that you seemed to enjoy this brand! First time hearing of it but sounds lovely! :)
Florals&Smiles
The packaging looks top class! I don't separate moisturizer from sunscreen because it's too much hassle, so best is to find one product that covers both aspects.

Wow these products look great!

Dermatoligist skincare products are definitely more reputable in my opinion. Love the packaging for these and glad they work. They do look light, which is a plus because I detest anything heavy. LOL

Nice and complete review, very useful!
Fabrizia - Cosa Mi Metto???
I love how this sunscreen is very light on the skin, you say that you don't even feel it once it soaks in (and it does quickly). That really sounds fantastic. This Summer I have finally started using sunscreen regularly (practically every day and I've never been that disciplined before) but what bothers me is that sunscreen is usually heavy on the skin..it feels oily, no matter the brand. So, this product seems really promising. I would love to try it!
There is something about line being created by dermatologists ( or in this case a renewn dermatologist) that makes you feel inclined towards the brand to start with. I know of one brand that was started by a dermatologist couple (how romantic, right!) and their products are amazing. Karygn does sound like a good brand and if this product is any judge, we should keep our eyes open for it.
ps. The packaging is gorgeous and I love your photographs of it.
Stunning products. *__*
I'm back on my blog...;-)
Both of these products sounds pretty amazing. I always lean towards products that have sunscreen included.
Have a wonderful weekend. I'm looking forward to your posts next week.
