Vintner's Daughter Active Botanical Serum Review

Vintner's Daughter Active Botanical Serum Review, Vintner's Daughter Serum, Vintner's Daughter Review

Even though I followed a multi-step skincare routine for awhile I don't actually like using a ton of products on my face and prefer a streamlined routine of products with ingredients that effectively work towards my skin goals. So of course I was intrigued by the skip care method which basically eliminates any unnecessary products in favor of a more simple and targeted routine. Multi-purpose beauty products are a cornerstone of the method. I decided to give skip care a try and because I'm all about going big, I'm doing it with Vintner's Daughter Active Botanical Serum (ABS), a multi-award winning, one stop wonder product that has amassed a cult following.

The product became a beauty industry favorite with many make up artists, models, beauty editors singing its praises.

How To Use
The application method of Vintner's Daughter Active Botanical Serum is key to the effectiveness of the product. It is formulated with a three-level delivery system, which helps the skin better absorb the ingredients. To activate the serum and help it deliver nutrients deep into the skin, it should be applied with Vintner’s Daughter’s signature Push/Press Method which increases absorption and circulation. Start with clean, toned skin. Place 5-6 drops of the serum in the palm of your hand. Gently rub your palms together to activate the serum and evenly distribute it to both hands. Place your hands on both sides of your face and press firmly. Push the serum into your skin by repeating this technique on your entire face, neck, and décolleté. Repeat the entire process for 30 seconds.

My Experience
I've been using Vintner's Daughter Active Botanical Serum as my sole skincare product in the evenings after washing and toning my face for a little over three weeks and counting. The product is golden yellow in color. Even though it is called a serum, it is really more of an oil. It has a light floral/botanical scent that is quite lovely and relaxing. Following the suggested application is definitely the way to go to maximize the absorption and efficacy of the product and it feels nice as well. It sinks into the skin easily without feeling greasy or heavy. And it is hydrating enough that I don't require another moisturizer. This product might just have yielded the quickest results I've ever seen from anything. After just two uses, my skin just seemed fresher and more supple. And with continued usage, I'm seeing a more refined texture, better clarity and my skin is better balanced. I was initially concerned it might not do much for brightening but it has given my face a more luminous appearance and my freckles looking more faint. I feel like it has improved the overall condition of my skin which is pretty amazing for just one product.  My skin was already in a pretty good place and this has given it a nice boost of radiance. The glow is real and I'm never going back to foundation! Apparently this product works well as primer for makeup but I haven't tried it because I like to use my vitamin C and propolis during the day.

Before trying it, Vintner's Daughter Active Botanical Serum seemed like a product that is just too good to be true and since I've been using it, I can understand why it's so beloved. Yes the price may be steep but I feel like I'm getting my money's worth and I can justify that because it's ethically and sustainably made from top quality natural ingredients with no fillers. It also easily replaced all the products in my nighttime routine which probably cost as much put together. But most importantly my skin has been loving it and it's looking better than ever. If you told me that I could only have one skincare product I would choose this. I usually side eye anything that Gwyneth Paltrow swears by but I actually agree with her on this one. ABS is a luxurious and truly transformational product which is perfect for me when it comes to a skip care routine. It is an indulgence and one that I'm glad I can afford since I have fallen in love. I originally purchased this during one of Cult Beauty's sales and you can bet I will be buying it again  at some point when I work down my skincare stash. Vintner's Daughter Active Botanical Serum can be purchased from Net-A-Porter, Space NK, Cult Beauty, Beautylish, Neiman Marcus, Follain as well as the Vintner's Daughter website where you can purchase a trial size 0.17 fl oz/5ml bottle for $65. The brand recently came out with a new Active Treatment Essence, a multi-corrective hydration product which works to boost moisture and resurface skin texture. Yes it's already on my wish list.

What do you think of Vintner's Daughter Active Botanical Serum? Have you tried it?

I've heard so much about this brand and so great to hear this serum is worth the hype, Rowena:) There's nothing better than a multipurpose product that really does work! That price's like Sunday Riley Good Genes. HG for me but such a steep price to pay:P

Oh I've been wanting to try this out for a while too! It's amazing that it is actually worth the hype. I similarly cast a side eye at celebrity lauded products, but if it works, it works!

I have been wondering about this product from Vintner's Daughter because I do love what it says it can do, but I have not used it yet. I do use a similar product and just finished reviewing it to post soon. I am all for good skincare if it does well, even if a splurge. Have a lovely new week, Rowena.

What a brilliant review, Rowena and I first saw this product through Stephanie Nicole. I wanted to give it a try but it's so pricey and as you said, sounds like too good to be true. I will save up and get it, maybe the end of the year. Sounds like it worth every penny.

Anything that helps to boost radiance and improve a natural glow is good in my book! Lovely to see bergamot included as an ingredient as well :) Hope you're having a lovely week so far, Rowena!!

Hello Rowena, I didn't try this serum so far. But now I want to try it as I love oils and as you wrote that this serum is more an oil I think this is for me. Thanks for your detailed and helpful review!

Your review convince me to look for this product and added to my regimen. Two products in one a serum that also could be use as a primer, no need to add primer when doing my makeup. This product cut it in half when I have to get ready.
