I recently reviewed these VIIcode O2M Oxygen Eye Masks which I found to be a pleasant eye treatment. My most vexing eye area issue aren't fine lines or crows feet but dark circles which aren't really cute unless you happen to be a panda. Dark circles can be caused by a number of factors including but not limited to genetics, lack of sleep, heredity, allergies, stress, fluid retention, aging and sun exposure. So when the brand reached out and asked if I would be interested in trying their Oxygen Eye Mask For Dark Circles, of course I jumped at the chance since it specifically targets my number one eye area concern.

How To Use
Make sure your eye area is clean, dry and free of any creams or serums so that the mask can adhere better to the skin. Peel the protective film off the eye masks. Place each eye mask about 3mm below the lower eyelid, from the inner corner to the outer corner of the eyes. Gently massage the eye area from the inner corner to the outer corner of the eyes for 2 minutes. For best results, wear the masks 6 - 8 hours while sleeping but it is advised to not use these mask for more than 8 hours. If you feel uncomfortable sleeping with the masks on, wear them 2 - 4 hours during the day or before bed. To remove, gently peel off the eye mask starting from the inside.
Packaging: VIIcode O2M Oxygen Eye Mask For Dark Circles are sold in a set of 6 treatments per box that are individually sealed inside a foil packet.
My Impressions: These eye masks are designed to be used ideally as an overnight treatment while you sleep or a nighttime treatment. If you're using it overnight, the effects will be boosted as the mask will work for an extended period of time to hydrate and repair. Each mask set is individually packaged in a foil bag. I usually apply them about a half an hour before bed. They're a patch style, made of an active hydrogel matrix material with a gel-like feel that gives off a slight cooling sensation upon application. The mask pieces adhere to the skin and stay in place but you can easily reposition them as necessary without disturbing your skin. I tend move around a bit when I sleep and these do pretty well to say in place through the night.
No these didn't immediately make my dark circles disappear but I did look more well rested after a single use and after 3 nights, my dark circles appeared lighter and my under eye area overall looked smoother firmer and more refreshed. The mask itself has a soothing feel and I didn't experience any sensitivity or irritation while using it. For best results, the brand recommends using the mask 2 - 3 times a week with 3 boxes for a full course of treatment for best results. This would be great but it would also be costly. I don't think my dark circles are that bad at the moment since I really do make it a point to prioritize sleep but if they ever get worse, it's good to know this mask works as a viable treatment.
