Snacking With Graze

Graze, Grace Snacks, Graze Review, Graze Nibblebox

I scored an invite code to try out Graze recently. It's an online subscription box service that delivers healthy snacks straight to your home or office. I set up an account and waited for my nibblebox to arrive. It showed up in my mailbox a week later. Each nibblebox contains 4 different portion controlled snacks in individual packages that are convenient and easy to take on the go. A personalized nutrition guide is also included for your information.

Graze, Grace Snacks, Graze Review, Graze Nibblebox

I received this selection:
Olive & Rosemary Bruschetta: olive croutons, rosemary & garlic cashews & tomato baguettes
Apple Crumble: apple, raisins and cinnamon honey almonds
Black Pepper Pistachios: pistachios roasted with black pepper
Cookies & Cream: mini cookies, white chocolate, hazelnuts & sunflower seeds

These were all pretty good in their own way. My favorite was the black pepper pistachios which were pleasantly zesty and flavorful. My least favorite was the apple crumble. I'm not big on raisins in general and I think the apple pieces would've been better if they had a bit of crunch. I made sure to return to the site to rate all of these so that they'd have a better sense of my tastes and to make sure I didn't get the apple crumble again.

How It Works:
You register on the site to set up a subscription. The default has you automatically scheduled to receive a box every 2 weeks but you can easily change that to weekly or 4 weeks whatever your preference on your deliveries page. You can also order a one time box at any time in addition to your regularly scheduled box or to send as a gift which I think is pretty cool.

Costs: Each nibblebox costs $6 and includes free delivery. You pay per box and there is no membership fee. You can cancel anytime and also put your box on hold or defer delivery as needed.

Delivery Zones: Graze currently ships to U.S. addresses only including PO Boxes within the lower 48 states. They also have a UK site.

The Snacks: The snacks are suitable for vegetarians with a number of gluten-free offerings and they're nutritionally balanced with a variety of wholesome and healthful selections. What you get in your box is based on your preferences. You can browse the snack range and assign a rating of love, like, try or trash to each of them. This way you can avoid receiving something you don't care for or are allergic to. The way they organize the snacks makes it easy to pick out certain ingredients you don't want. My preferences tend toward savory foods so I actually took out most of the sweet selections. They offer two types of boxes: a standard nibblebox that has the most variety and a calorie counterbox which contains snacks totalling 50-150 calories each.

I was pretty happy with my first box so I plan to continue with my deliveries for now. The price is reasonable and I like that you can actually customize the types of snacks you receive to some degree as well as continuously sample new things. I'm looking forward to seeing what I'll get next. There's a good variety and I think it's a fun way to try different and healthy snacks. It would be especially ideal for people with busy lifestyles or those who want to watch what they're eating.<

If you're interested in trying Graze for free you can click this link or just use my friendcode: ZP6DWL41P to sign up.  If you decide to stick with it, you'll also get your fifth box for free.

Are you a snacker? What are your favorite snacks?

I am in the UK and have ordered from Graze before, but only with coupon codes! I actually think their pricing is eye-watering if you consider the amount you get and compare that to what you could buy and put together yourself in a store. It definitely is a very cute idea though, and if I was loaded, these would be perfect little treats to keep hunger at bay. I think it's especially a good idea for busy workers who just need something quick to pop into their bags. Hope you're doing well Rowena. Rosemary x

It sounds like a good snack but I'm with you on the savory part. Neither of the sweet options you received look appetizing to me, but the others seem interesting. I hope you had a great weekend!

Hi Rowena! Hope you had a nice Easter weekend and holiday! Ive already heard about this site and service and I really find it so brilliant! Im a snacker, love to have this type of snacks, especially if they are also healthy and can control the portion you are eating (if not, I tend to exaggerate!:P). The ones you got sounds so yummy, what a shame for the apple crumble, Im neither a fan of raisins and I dont think they are good with apple too! Hope they will do it also for Italy, Id love to try it. Have a great week ahead dear, many kisses! xo

I had maybe five coupons sitting on my desk, but then when I decided to take advantage of the offer, I realised that I had to sign up, which is not something I was prepared to do. I would never cancel my direct debit, so I never tried this graze box. Maybe I should..

Dang, that's actually a brilliant idea. Though I'm not sure how big these portions are (HOW DOES 32 GRAMS EVEN LOOK LIKE?), $6+ free ship is actually an amazing deal considering I almost paid $7 for 85grams of a nut mix the other day ._.''
The Olive + Rosemary Bruschetta sounds right up my alley! :D

This is a really good idea! I love things that are portioned out for me since I'll tend to nibble away subconsciously otherwise. However, I just bought a ton of nuts and dried fruit from Costco, so I may not start using this service any time soon :X

Oh I wish we had this here. Sounds like a brilliant idea! And I LOVE pistachio. But, that thing is ridiculously expensive over here!

JeannLiew | Luminnej said...

Yes! My hubby came back from his US trip last month and bought quite some packets of assorted nuts! They are so delicious and way cheaper than buying them here in Malaysia! Too bad we don't have this service here, just yet :)) what a healthy way to snack away!

Hope you will have a beautiful weekend

YUM! These snacks look delicious!
I'm a huge snacker, though most of the stuff I eat is not the most healthy (I do try lol), so something like this would be perfect for me!

Classiq said...

They look and sound (healthy snacks) yummy. And they come in such a nice package too. I love homemade mini-pretzels, walnuts and pistachio the most.
