Old Factory Candles are hand-poured in the USA with natural soy wax, self trimming cotton wicks and premium fragrance oils. Each candle is supposed to burn clean and even for 20 hours. They come in gift sets of three which are each themed around a group of related fragrances.
I chose to review the Winter Wonderland set. The candles come packaged in a cardboard carton with a design that has a vintage industrial type feel. There was a card inside with a link to their site where you could download a free e-book about Aromatherapy for Everyday Use. My set included these three scents: Hot Cocoa, Roasted Chestnut and First Snow. The candles are encased in minimalistic glass jars with black screw on tops and measure about 2" wide by 2" high. Despite their small size, these candles are strong enough to subtly fill an entire room. What I liked most is that the fragrances quite naturally mimic their names. The Hot Chocolate and Roasted Chestnut both had a slightly sweet and comforting smell. It was a wonder I didn't have a craving for either while they were going. The scents in each set are meant to complement each other so I did try burning these two together which created quite a cozy mood. I would say that First Snow had a clean and fresh feel to it which was rather pleasant. This was the lightest of the three in terms of fragrance but also the most refreshing. The candles do burn clean per the claims. I can't speak to the 20 hour burn time because I haven't used them for that long yet.
Old Factory Candle Gift Sets are $25 each and are sold exclusively through Amazon. The variety of scents they come in make them an ideal gift for any occasion.
There are currently 12 different sets which include:
Fall Harvest: Pumpkin Spice, Cranberry, Autumn Leaves
Happy Holidays: Christmas Tree, Candy Cane, Gingerbread
Winter Wonderland: Hot Cocoa, Roasted Chestnut, First Snow
Romance: Rose Petals, Champagne, Dark Chocolate
Spa Day: Cucumber, Lemongrass, Green Tea
Vacation: Seabreeze, Hawaiian Lei, Awapuhi
Coffee Shop: Coffee Bean, Hazelnut, Chai Tea
Man Cave: Straight Razor, Leather Mahogany
High As A Kite: Cannabis, Incense, Bag O' Cookies

Morning Rowena! I would have probably picked the same set you chosen, as I read the scents of the candles I wanted to smell them so bad!:) The hot cocoa and the roasted chestnuts in particular sounds great and so sweet, Id love to try also the happy holidays set, those scents are so festive and would be nice for the Christmas night. Have a wonderful week Rowena, many hugs! xo

Such a wonderful giveaway! I love candles very much and in a way it's a shame that one can no longer post them abroad. I know the reasons, of course, but I do wish I could send and receive them. x
These candles sounds amazing, Rowena but what a huge shame that they only ship within US. :-(
