Reading... all the magazines that have been piling up for a few months. I don't pay for any of my subscriptions and it's crazy how many magazines I still get.

Watching... Daredevil...
It's a little dark but interesting. Much better than the movie version with Ben Affleck who I happen to think is overrated and can't act. My husband grew up a comic book collector so we watch this genre quite a bit. It's a good balance with our K-dramas.

Listening... to Lee Seung Gi's And... (그리고...) Love his voice! And Goodbye (그리고 안녕) is such a pretty song.

Eating... warm weather faves like cold Sesame noodles and Taiwanese cucumber salad. (click on names for recipes!)

Drinking... nose to tail lemonade which uses most of the lemon and is made in a blender. So good and refreshing! Here's a recipe if you'd like to try it yourself. This Matcha Arnold Palmer I had the other day at Chalait might be my next drink obsession.

Bookmarking... A Drink With. Such a fun take on the standard celebrity interview.

Wearing... sunscreen whenever I go out even if it's just for an hour.

Becoming... one of those ladies who carries an umbrella when it's sunny cause walking in the shade isn't enough and I need to make my own shade haha.

Planning... our vacation for this year and having a hard time narrowing down where we want to go.

Enjoying... the peonies while they last. They look pretty spectacular dried up as the petals curl up so artfully.

Looking forward to... the arrival of our new air conditioner next week.

Finished... with a big organization and decluttering project and boy does it feel good.

So what's going on with you all?

Daredevil became one of my most favorite series! It's definitely gripping, my hubby is a comic collector too. He was not a giant fan of Daredevil, but he absolutely adores the Netflix series, it's very well done! I'm taking a solo vacation this Summer, for a week back at my parents. I'm in major need to re-centering and refreshing, and home is always a good place to do that. :)

Good luck choosing a place to vacation soon! ^__^

Lovely post, Rowena!

Thanks so much for sharing what you are listening now. I never heard of Lee Seung Gi's singing before this, though he does look familiar to me! He does have a soothing voice. I love the song titled "love" from the iTunes list, amongst others.

The youtube video link is a short version? But I checked out the long version instead *_^ Loving his songs now. Will definitely end up on my Korean song playlist, ahaha!

Yup yup, growing up reading all those comic books, like your hubs, my hubby says Dare Devil the series is good, though I have yet to watch it.

Wishing you having a beautiful weekend ahead. Dried peonies is as nice, no matter coz you captured it *_^

Big hugs,
Jeann

There is nothing wrong in protecting ourselves from the sun, so do rock that sun umbrella! So great you always wear sun scream...today entire Split city smelled like sun scream. There are about 150.000 tourist arriving for ultra festival and they all seem to be covered with stuff. Not a bad idea if you'll go out when the sun is at its highest. I generally try to avoid going out between 11am and 3pm, but lately I always have some important business to take care of just when the sun is at its highest...today I almost melted!

I'm not a fan of Ben as an actor but he seems to be a decent producer...I didn't really care for the film version of daredevil either...the original comic book I used to adore as a kid! This series sounds fun, but I probably won't see it. I haven't followed a series in ages, I'm even behind with watching films.

I forgot to add that the photograph of that flower is majestic!

Is DareDevil a new series, Rowena? We love anything Marvel however never heard of this series before, is it a Netflix only? And thank you for the recipe! I have everything for the cold sesame noodles except mirin, can it be replaced with anything else or is it an essential ingredient and can't be replaced?

Thanks for sharing. This is lovely!
I am drinking more tea these days. Been quite busy with work but trying to blog more consistently. Since I don't find ample time to workout, I walk a lot and do simple planks at home, etc. But, I think I've been eating too much lately anyway. ;p
You have a beautiful weekend, Rowena.

I love your photo of the flower Rowena!:)
Actually, I recently met quite a lot of ladies with an umbrella when it´s sunny. It reminds me the old classy movies, so nice. But, I´m a sunseeker, not because I need get a tan necessary, but because simply I enjoy the sun and gives me a lot of energy.

You are doing well wearing sunscreen, because even if you are in the city, you need a protection. Which I don't do though. The Taiwanese cucumber salad looks so delicious, I need to try it! I am in a vacation mood, although it's already over, but summer is this time of the year, when living is easier.

I love a good decluttering project as well and your cucumber salad sounds delicious, sweetie. Kisses

THAT BEN AFFLECK SHADE THO LOL~ (I don't care for him much either but I just thought him and Jennifer Garner were always so cute together, so I am quite sad about the divorce :()
I've been meaning to watch Daredevil for months now, but every time I'm on Netflix, I always end up watching something else, hah
UGH, LSG is the king of ballads. I bought my first bouquet of peonies last week and they lasted a week on my table. Sad to see them go since THEY WERE MIGHTY EXPENSIVE, but they were starting to reek of rot, so I had to toss them.

Have you decided on a vacation destination yet?
