OZ Naturals Hyaluronic Acid Serum Review

Hyaluronic Acid Skincare

Hyaluronic acid is having it's moment as a highly touted skin care ingredient and there are a number of products on the market that contain it, no doubt for it's effective moisturizing qualities. Hyaluronic acid which also known as hyaluronan is actually a natural structural component of skin that is present in connective tissue throughout the human body. Hyaluronic acid can help your skin retain moisture while simultaneously strengthening it's barrier. A healthy barrier presents as skin that looks and feels softer, smoother, and plumper. So it would make sense that a pure hyaluronic acid serum would yield some impressive skincare results. I tried OZ Naturals Hyaluronic Acid Serum to see for myself.

About the Brand: OZ Naturals is a leader in natural skincare with a range of effective anti-aging products that are cruelty-free, paraben free, sulfate free, mineral oil free, lanolin free and gluten free.

Product Claims: OZ Naturals Hyaluronic Acid Serum is a clinical strength product that deeply hydrates and plumps skin to diminish fine lines and wrinkles and leave skin soft and rejuvenated. It is rich in antioxidant Vitamin C and considered to be the highest quality HA serum on the market because it's botanically derived. It is safe for all skin types.

Key Ingredients: Hyaluronic Acid derived from Cassia Angustifolia seed, an organic extract of the native Indian plant that deeply hydrates and moisturizes skin, repairing dryness and retaining water. Vitamin C, an antioxidant that combats free radicals, supporting natural collagen production. Wild Crafted Green Tea is a super-antioxidant and anti-inflammatory ingredient that helps to calm the skin and reduce puffiness and swelling. It also prevents collagen breakdown and reduces UV damage to the skin. Vitamin E to speed up cell regeneration and promote healing of scars, acne, and wrinkles.

Packaging: A lightweight glass bottle with dropper for hygienic and precise application.

Price: OZ Naturals Hyaluronic Acid Serum retails for $15.79.

Hyaluronic Acid Skincare

My Impressions: I've used this in place of my usual serum for over a week and there is honestly nothing that I don't like about it. The product has a light barely distinguishable scent. The texture of the serum is light with an almost watery consistency that makes it easy to apply. This hyaluronic acid definitely lives up to it's reputation as an effective moisturizer with the added benefits of smoothing and plumping. I like how it sinks in without being greasy and is gentle and suitable for sensitive skin. I had some some irritation on my face one night and this serum actually helped to calm it down. That alone makes this a winner. And it's really affordable as well. I've seen some really expensive hyaluronic acid serums on the market but there's really no need to spend big $$ when there is an affordable product like this that works.

OZ Naturals Hyaluronic Acid Serum can be purchased on Amazon. You can learn more about the brand and their products through their website.

Do you use serums in your skincare? How do they work for you?

Great that you are happy with this serum. I used to use the Estee Lauder serum but when it ran out I didn't repurchase it. Currently I'm not using any but it's always good to know what's on the market.

i'm finally going to try a serum...waiting to receive it! this one does look like water; that's one thing i would probably dislike about a serum - if it's heavy or greasy feeling.

Sounds great! I've been wanting to try this brand for a while now but as usual it's not available here, meh.

I don't use serums...In fact, I have yet to try them. This one sounds lovely! The fact that it is easy to apply is certainly a plus. It is wonderful that it is suitable for sensitive skin as well.
How nice that it helps to soothe the irritation on your skin! It must be a really good serum.

I love serum, especially one that is clear and watery and lightweight like this one! I would love to try their products but too bad, they said they don't ship to Malaysia...

Sounds like a promising one. The first time I used serum it was kinda disappointing, although it was nice, not greasy or such, but I couldn't see any difference, so just not worth the money. The second brand was totally different. Within a week I could see and feel the difference, soft skin and moisturizing was nearly perfect. Happy new week, girl.

I really love glass bottles for skincare products, though I'm uncertain as to why! It's great to hear you were left so impressed by this product and the photo showing the droplet on your skin is utterly flawless - what an image! :)

I like it Rowena! Hyaluronic Acid is wonderful for the skin and will keep the skin moist and supple throughout the day. It's great for extra dry skin when used as a second step .. prior to moisturizer. My patients with oily skin can even use it! xxL

I haven't seen many results with serums. I have been washing well and using a couple masks and they have been okay.

Happy Tuesday Rowena. I would love to try this serum. It's so affordable and also gluten-free. I'm not sure if a beauty product with gluten will do any harm (I'm gluten intolerant) but better safe than sorry. Happy Tuesday Rowena!

Sounds really great! And I like the price range as well.
Lately I've been loving serums and using two different types of serum on my skin. Due to the hot weather, I'm not really missing heavier moisturizer. I will definitely look into the line. :)
