J:DEW Green Moist Cream Review

J:Dew Green Moist Cream Review, J:Dew Green Moist, Q-Depot

These days my beauty interests lie way more in skincare than makeup and more in Asian beauty products than Western ones. I'm particularly keen on exploring natural and green beauty options in the Asian market so I was very interested when Q-Depot wrote to me to introduce the J:DEW brand and offered to send me a product from their line to review.

About the Brand: J:DEW is an eco-friendly and natural brand that seeks to support healthy lifestyles. The name J:Dew stands for Jeju's Dew since the company and it's production facilities are based on Jeju Island. A popular vacation destination often referred to as the Hawaii of South Korea, Jeju is best-known for it's clean waters, refreshing breezes, and warm sunshine. The J:DEW brand is currently very popular in Korea and they are looking to expand within the Asian and US markets.

Product Claims: A rich cream that penetrates to deeply moisturize, repair and smooth skin while also nourishing and providing a healthy radiance. Safe for all skin types including sensitive.

J:Dew Green Moist Cream Review, J:Dew Green Moist, Q-Depot

Key Ingredients: Organic Jeju aloe barbadensis leaf and Jeju camellia sinensis leafgreen (green tea) to effectively moisturize and sooth irritated skin. Antioxidants from Jeju brassica oleracea italica (broccoli) and camellia oil to protect skin from damage and create a clear and healthy complexion. All natural lavandin oil and bergamot orange oil to soothe and rejuvenate. This product is produced under a 7 free system, so it doesn't contain any parabens, mineral oils, animal derivatives, artificial scents, artificial colors, benzophenone and silicone oils.

Packaging: A translucent dark green glass jar with a copper colored metal screw off top. A spatula was not included so you have to scoop the product out with your fingers.

Price: $22.99 for 1.85 fl. oz./55 ml.

How to Use: Apply every morning and night after your essence or lotion.

J:Dew Green Moist Cream Review, J:Dew Green Moist, Q-Depot

My Impressions: This cream has a slight gel-like consistency which makes it quite easy to apply and pat into my skin. The herbal scent is extremely light and pleasantly refreshing and this is coming from someone who prefers unscented skincare products. It feels slightly cool upon application and even though it's thick, it spreads easily and absorbs quickly. I've been using it twice a day for about two weeks and this cream does a nice job of hydrating my skin without feeling heavy or greasy. I was a little concerned it wouldn't be moisturizing enough for my dry skin because the texture felt so light but this is actually a very good occlusive cream that leaves my face feeling soft and smooth for hours. It performed well both during the day under my makeup and as a night cream. This product is gentle and effective and I had no issues with sensitivity or irritation. The price is also extremely reasonable considering it is formulated with quality natural ingredients. In fact I actually like it enough that I would be interested in trying out some of the other items in the J:DEW product range which include a Toner, Essence and Emulsion. My only complaint is that since this cream is packaged in a jar, it should really include a scooper for hygienic dispensing. This is why I always save the ones that come with other products.

J:Dew Green Moist Review, JDEW Green Moist, Jeju Beauty Line

You know I absolutely love finding out about new products Rowena and you always deliver. I've never heard of this brand but it does seem very interesting. And I like the jar as well but I agree, it needs a spatula with it. Great review.

I like gel-like creams! The price is reasonable but two weeks shipping is a bit long...

Sounds good, but another type of packaging would have been better indeed.

I really want to try out Asian skincare products and experiment with different brands. I think I need to do some research online and find sites that ship to Europe.
Wishing you a beautiful week, Rowena! (Waiting for the last 2 episodes)..

Yes, this is a product I'd definitely love to try. I also switch to a gel in the spring and summer, as the texture is lighter, and my skin type is mixed. I like the price of this product - it is very reasonable, and you definitely convinced me that this product is good. Happy Monday, Rowena! xo

This is the first time I'm reading about Q-Depot and I will check them out. Asian skincare is hard to come by here in Canada so I like that they offer worldwide shipping too. The cream sounds amazing but I probably won't be purchasing it anytime soon because I have tons of face creams to go though, I am looking for an essence to try though. Never tried one before, any good recommendation for dry, dehydrated and mature skin, Rowena?

I hope they start selling JDew here in the States. Where it comes from sounds absolutely fabulous Rowena! I think Asian skincare has always been ahead of the game. I love that this doesn't conflict with makeup and that it was moisturizing enough for dry skin. Great review. I'll remember this.

Although I would prefer a spatula as well, this product does sound great. I actually have extra spatulas that I keep for items like this, so it's a good investment. Have a great new week.

I haven't heard of this brand before. Thank you for introducing it to us. This cream sounds lovely. It is great that it has a gel like quality so that it absorbs easily.

Lately, I've been thinking about skincare more. It is important to take good care of our skin, for both health and beauty reasons.

This seems like an interesting brand, I actually just heard about them the other day. I have too many creams from before I figured out my skin, but this one sounds really nice if I were looking.
