This is where I talk about some of the beauty products I've been loving lately...
This Works Sleep Plus Pillow Spray
Sleep is a huge priority for me. While I don't really have an issue with falling asleep, sometimes when there's a lot going on my mind becomes preoccupied and restless and that's when This Works Sleep Plus Pillow Spray comes in handy. It is an upgraded version of the Deep Sleep Pillow Spray which I have used in the past. This works by using an infusion of naturally encapsulated Lavender oil that is gradually released to prompt alpha waves in the part of the brain that aids relaxation. This is helpful for lulling me into a slumber and I also find that when I use it, I'm more likely to sink into a deeper and more restful sleep rather than waking up a few times during the night. I can't vouch for how it will work for those with insomnia but it works for me.
Smith & Cult Lash Dance Mascara
I got this product in the Byrdie Beauty Box I purchased awhile back and I didn't think much of it until I started using it. This mascara employs an innovative silicone applicator brush that separates and defines my lashes with equal parts length and volume. Most mascaras usually tend to deliver one or the other in my experience. The formula is creamy and buildable without clumping or flaking and this mascara stays out until I'm ready to take it off. This has already gone on my repurchase list.
PUR Bare It All 4-in-1 Skin-Perfecting Foundation (Shade: Golden Medium)
I acquired this in a swap with my friend Lena. The best part was actually meeting her and finding that she is even more lovely and sweet in person than she comes across on her blog. This is a mineral foundation with a unique moisturizing and anti-aging formula. Yes to makeup with skincare benefits. I don't usually go for full coverage base products but this one has given me a new appreciation for them with it's weightless and long wearing finish. It doesn't cake up and actually looks flawless yet skin-like. I see myself using this one more often as it gets warmer. If you want to learn more about this product, check out Lena's full review here.
Neogen Dermalogy Advanced Routine Treatment White Clear Serum
There is always some type of brightening treatment in my skincare routine at any time. This serum comes from Neogen Dermalogy, a Korean beauty brand that I recently introduced here. It brightens using a comprehensive formulation of arbutin, mulberry bark and beta glucan. Since using this, my freckles are visibly lighter and my my face appears more radiant overall. This definitely made more of a difference than The Ordinary Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA that I was previously using.
Tatcha Ageless Enriching Renewal Cream
This was the product that motivated my purchase of the Byrdie Beauty Box and it does not disappoint. This cream made with squalane, camellia seed oil, rice extract, green tea leaf extract, and peony root extract has such luxurious silky texture and I just love how it feels rich yet weightless on my skin. The best part is this cream's long lasting moisturizing and balancing properties. I can honestly say that it's one of the best moisturizers I've used in some time.
Actually Organic Argan Oil*
Argan oil is one of those products that I always go back to. This one doesn't have any added fillers, preservatives or chemicals. I've used as an all over moisturizer on dry patches and on my hair. I really like how lightweight, nourishing smoothing it feels.
Have you tried any of these products? What have you been loving lately?

A mascara that delivers both volume and length witjout clumping? I am all ears. Usually the silicone wands don't really work for me, but maybe this one is different.

I regularly use Argan oil and is definitely a must-have for my hair, this one inspires me a lot. The sleep hair sounds cool, I have insomnia troubles, maybe this would be ideal for me. Happy weekend dear Rowena! xo

New update: A Cheerful Gift From My Knitting Pals
I had no idea that Smith & Cult makes mascara, I thought it's a nail polish brand? Thank you for the link, will check it out. Mascaras are the bane of my life and even though I've met my holy grail in Marc Jacobs Major Volume mascara, I am still trying to find a good one.
I could really do with a sleep pillow spray as I have trouble falling asleep at night.

I'm actually testing out some Tatcha skincare products Rowena, and BOY ARE THEY NICE! I didn't want to like them, because everything is so expensive. But they work. That was nice of you & Lena to swap! I remember her when I first started blogging. Lovely girl both inside & out.

Ooo anything with Squalane makes your skin super soft. And that mascara sounds good, I am using one now that flakes too much. I do suffer from insomnia I will have to try that spray.

Thanks for your kind words! You know I loved meeting you in person. And I'm happy to hear that you like the foundation! I'm enjoying the EL foundation from our swap a lot, too. The coverage is quite light but it stays intact for a long time that I'm impressed. :)
