Getting To Know...You

So I found this list of questions and answers when I was cleaning up my social media profiles and I thought it might be cool to share here since I don't get personal very often. It would be fun if you could pick one or two questions to answer in the comments so I can get to know you better.

So nice to learn some things about you. I was named after my late grandmother (she died on my 18th birthday). I still have one grandmother and I'm horrified that something might happened to her. Every time she gets sick, I get so stressed I end up being sick too.

So nice you have a neat hand writing. Turning it into a fond sounds like a great idea. Perhaps you should do that. You would need to scan it...well, I'm not that good with computers but I'm sure there is a way to do it...and then you could type and print your 'thank you' notes or birthday cards for people. My husband says I have the worst handwriting and I must admit it is not the most readable one but I still think it's kind of cute....and anyway it is mine, so what can I do:).

I only use sarcasm when I talk or write in English. Somehow, it doesn't always translate well into other language.

BTW Recreating restaurant dishes after tasting them is a serious talent. It is like that story I heard of Mozart...when he was a kid, he heard a song (that has been secret for centuries) in one monastery and as soon as he got home he wrote the music down. I was always fascinated by my musician friends who can play everything they hear. I had a friend who could play anything on a piano...and she wasn't even a piano player, she played another instrument but she was so good with piano nevertheless...and speaking of that friend that's also what I miss the most. Friends I haven't spoken to for a while.

This is super cool, Rowena! Thanks for sharing:) Learned some new things about you for sure. I think it's freaking awesome how you can recreate restaurant dishes just by doing that. I need that talent. And yes to summer too. I may live in a cold country but that doesn't mean I have to like it:P
PS Mauvelous....I die:D
PPS My fave cereal: Special K. My least fave thing about myself: I'm obsessive-compulsive.

I'm totally intrigued by savory steel cut oats and your homemade banana and strawberry ice cream now. How do you make it with no sugar? I want my daughter to have that!

I love this, Rowena and it's nice to learn about your name. I have no idea about mine, I asked my mum and she told me that she likes the sounds of it and it is unique. You do have a beautiful handwriting! I still have the card you send along with the masks and Bite Beauty lipstick Kimchi which is still one of my top favourite shades to wear! LOL! Sarcasm is also the basis of my humour, some people don't get it though and thinks I'm bing cheeky or rude. Haha!

How interesting about how you and your hubby met. I know you don't get too personal on the blog (and totally understand that) but it's nice learning more about the bloggers that we follow. My entire family is all about witty & dry humour but many people can often not understand if they aren't quick, so it's good to know that you have sassy humour if ever we meet. Lovely random q&a session! :-)

Oh this was great to read!! You met your hubby while working at The Gap? How cool! I was not named after anyone either. And last time I cried was watching a reporter cry on the air over the gassing in Syria and the time before was when Gwen Ifill died, I was shocked. I had no idea she was sick. I felt like I had lost a friend.

I love reading these posts, Rowena! Would love to see your handwriting and I'm impatient too (slowly learning how to have more patience). And I love summer too and hopefully watch a live baseball game one day.

Loved reading this Rowena. I used to be proud of my handwriting. I used to get similar comments but these days I don't know what happened to it. It's gross and messy. I can't seem to beautify it no matter how hard I try. I'm almost giving up on it completely now. I'd also be friends with me because I love to laugh and make others laugh too!
