Wish List

The picks in this month's wish list are a bit of a mixed bag which reflects life at the moment. I'm still happily dedicated to my daily at home fitness routine and want to take it to the next level and after our kitchen DIY's went so well, we're looking to making some improvements to other areas of our apartment.

Items acquired from last month's wish list:

This replaced a previous classic grey cable knit sweater which I had for about 12 years and wore to death. I expect this one to be a similar wardrobe staple that is both elegant and versatile.

Since we've been living in lockdown (which we never left) I've developed a thing for nap dresses and they're my favorite thing to wear at home. Been hearing a lot of great things about this sweet A-line nap dress with elasticated smocking, ruffled shoulders and a tiered midi skirt which will also be nice to wear for outings once that is safely possible again.

This striped button-down is a layering staple that can be worn on it's own or under dressier tops. I just love the dash of feminine chic the ruffle collar adds.

These kicks would be for my husband and they are a cool upgrade to his regular Adidas Sambas which look so good dressed up or down.  And this pair is also ethically made of eco-friendly materials.

Since our kitchen wallpaper project went so well, we're considering jazzing up our entryway with this sophisticated design featuring this gold marigolds over a blue-green background.

This candle is from a luxury home fragrance brand that specializes in scents inspired by the richness of Harlem. The notes of vanilla, dark chocolate, palo santo, bourbon, tobacco, licorice and plum blossom sounds like it will smell absolutely divine and the elegant jar looks so pretty too.

In addition to a powerful cocktail of antioxidants, retinol, and vitamins C and E, this breakthrough multi-tasking serum features SIREN Capsule Technology, patent-pending molecules strategically designed to draw complexion-wrecking damage away from healthy skin.  In just one step, it can help brighten, resurface, renew, tighten, equalize and defend skin.

This sleek 10 lb. power ring which is a combination kettlebell and dumbbell can be incorporated into a variety of workouts at home or at the gym. Press, hold, swing and squat to increase strength, agility, endurance and balance. I really want to incorporate more strength training into my workouts to build muscle, improve cognition, insulin resistance and bone density. I like the cool and space saving design.

I'm all about padded jackets in the winter because I hate being cold and this one is the perfect marriage of style and function.

My daily exercise routine currently consists of yoga and cardio on our stationary bike. I'm really pleased with how it's going and want to take it to the next level. Strengthening my core more is one of my biggest goals now because a strong core is the foundation of a fit body.
