Reading...
This book is a practical guide on the power of authenticity and how to find, develop and share your authentic voice and self with the world. I thought I had somewhat found my voice, but the compelling insights in this book have helped me to see that I still have more to learn and can go actually to the next step.

Watching...
Okay I'm into this one because I adore both the leads Lee Seung Gi and Lee Se Young. Based on the web novel of the same name, The Law Cafe is a friends to lovers story set in a cafe that offers legal counseling. Part legal drama, part romance, this one is mostly enjoyable though there is a lingering tension due to an incident that occurred when the two were in high school.

Also watching...
This variety show from the director of Love In The Moonlight, Itaewon Class and The Sound Of Magic reunites cast members from all three dramas to go on a trip where they engage in some lighthearted competitions while building new friendships and creating memories. The games will be familiar to anyone who has watched Korean variety shows ranging from missions in "haunted houses" to flying chairs into pools. Some of the actors participating in this are major stars like Kim Yoo Jung, Ji Chang Wook, Park Bo Gum, and Park Seo Joon who will be in Captain Marvel 2 and it's refreshing how genuinely down to earth and enthusiastic they are in their participation. Like my husband said, there's no way anyone in Hollywood would do this. This show is just so fun and a joy to watch.

Eating...
I love the ease of a good sheet pan meal this one combines three of my favorites - chicken, potatoes, and broccoli. I have modified it subbing chicken thighs for chicken breast and adding kale, zucchini squash and onion to get in more vegetables. I also skip the honey because I don't add sugar to my food, use champagne vinegar instead of white wine vinegar and add some paprika and turmeric to kick up the flavor.

Drinking...
Miso Soup
I actually love miso soup any time of the year but make it more often when the weather cools. Right now I'm just doing a simple version with tofu, seaweed and spinach or kale. It hots the spot for breakfast or lunch. Sometimes I add GreeNoodles for a heartier meal.

Wearing...
Coats Again
Autumn was relatively mild in NYC during September and I had our terrace door open all the time but it became cold once October rolled around.  I'm not minding it so much since I can wear all my favorite outerwear like my Maje Gedoen Herringbone Coat now. I'm definitely not looking forward to it getting colder though.

Vistiting ...
We'd been looking forward to this coming to our neighborhood and it is a stunning addition. The old Fulton Fish Market space in the Seaport has been transformed into The Tin Building by by chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. The 53,000  square-foot multi-level space is home to six full service restaurants, four casual dining options, beer and wine bars and a marketplace offering a variety of fresh, artisanal, local seasonal produce, chef-grade pantry staples, and rare ingredients. They are now fully open. We actually stopped by when they were still in preview mode and it is extremely impressive in terms of the building itself and how the dining options center on sustainable, organic, and locally-sourced ingredients. We aren't  still aren't dining indoors so we picked up some tacos, a quesadilla and guacamole from Taquito. Everything was delicious especially the fish tacos. Very excited to have a new place for fish tacos. Look forward to going back to shop for groceries and trying more takeout options. We spotted chef Vongerichten there twice already.

Loving...
This hydrating serum is part of my current morning skincare routine along with Brandefy Skin 15% Vitamin C + E + Ferulic Acid Serum, the dupe I found for Skinceuticals C E Ferulic Serum that I recently reviewed. Formulated with a unique tri-ceramide complex to support skin barrier health, glycerin and squalane, it is a wonderful and lightweight hydration booster.

The Law Café sounds great, chingu! I haven't seen any legal dramas in awhile (which I do love) so Imma gonna have to check this out:) And I've never heard of Young Actor's Retreat. TBH, I think this type of show would not work out well in Western TV world because ego....ugh! Anyhoo, hope you're having a lovely Monday so far. And we need to see pics of "after haircut"! :D

Hey Rowena, tons of interesting favorites and lovely recommendations over here!

I think you gave me many ideas to watch over the upcoming months and now I have a few recipes to try! Miso Soup is one of my favorites, specially during this season :) Any other recommendation to add to this fantastic soup or is it better to keep it simple? I also have to try that pan honey-dijon chicken with veggies, probably a fantastic combination!

That byoma product has my eye on it! I have heard a lot of interesting reviews about the brand *_*
