Wish List, Shopping, rolala loves

Lately I've been focused on skincare and wellness. If there's anything that's made my life better, its's been prioritizing exercise and making it a part of my daily life. It all started when we got an exercise bike at the start of the pandemic which I still use but more for warmups and cool downs than actual workouts now. I've moved onto a routine that includes strength training,  HIIT cardio and pilates and it's made a real difference in my overall wellbeing and I just feel so much better when I workout and that alone makes it worth my time and effort. Building more strength and muscle is a priority I’m focusing on this year.

Items acquired from my last wish list: None

This ultra rich in shower body treatment made with a nourishing blend of oat, pistachio and coconuts would be such a luxurious way to elevate any shower or bath and pamper your skin with moisture.

I've talked about the importance of caring for the skin on your neck and it's something I take seriously.  I'm a big fan of the Nécessaire brand and their formulations and this daily repair serum infused with a 9% peptide concentration sounds like the perfect solution to diminish the effects of tech neck and aging skin on the neck

Formulated with hyaluronic acid, prickly pear flower extract, microalgae extract, lipids, and fatty acids, this complexion boosting moisturizer designed to smooth the skin's overall texture with hydrating benefits, reduce redness, and improve the skin's barrier sounds like a must try for me.

This exfoliating AHA mask with glycolic acid, lactic acid and tranexamic acid that works to reduce the appearance of dark spots and hyperpigmentation while smoothing skin and improving absorption of actives sounds like it needs to be in my routine.

Running my diffuser is a part of my sleep routine that helps me wind down so I'm always on the look out for relaxing essential oil blends. This blend of sweet neroli, ylang-ylang, roman chamomile, petitgrain, lavender and sweet orange would fit the bill to help unwind and calm an active mind.

The wavy colorblocked pattern and pretty colors of this tank and legging set is a great combination of style and function.

I like to use resistance bands on my low impact days because they help me to stretch deeper and do light resistance training at the same time. This one offers medium resistance and it would be great to take on the go as well.

Our electric kettle has been acting up and this one is a prime candidate to replace it.

I'm a big believer in supplemental magnesium for sleep and this spray is a product I've been curious about. The formula is fortified with calming lavender oil and healing arnica extract. When taken through the skin, magnesium will be absorbed up to five times faster and more effectively as it as absorbed directly into your bloodstream. Magnesium is essential for over 325 biochemical reactions in the body, helping you to maintain normal muscle, nerve and heart function.

I'm always looking for new ways to switch up and add to my cardio routine and I think I might want to start jumping rope as I can do this put on our terrace. I like that this rope includes a removable weight to help activate muscles and build endurance.

I've learned that recovery is vital to getting the most out of my workouts so I make it a priority especially on strength training days. I lay out on my HigherDose Infrared PEMF Go Mat every day. I've also been looking this wearable device that delivers instant alternating heat, cold and contrast therapy and waiting for a sale to get one.

If there was one positive that came out of my ankle injury last year, it's that I picked up pilates again because that was really the only workout I could do for awhile. Anyway I loved it and it has been incredible for building core strength, balance and mobility. I've been doing mat pilates but I'm considering taking it to the next level with reformer practice. This machine is compact and can be folded away while not in use which is a must for apartment living.

What do you do for exercise?

I've always wanted to try pilates! That reformer machine sounds fab, chingu:) I do a lot of cardio at home, but not enough muscle work so pilates will definitely benefit me.
Hope you are having a great weekend so far. XOXO
