Wish List, Shopping, rolala loves

If I'm to be honest, I've been dealing with a fair amount of anxiety lately about the state of the world because I refuse to engage in toxic positivity and things look bleak (climate change, another pandemic -bird flu, the upcoming election, etc). To quell worries about potential supply chain issues, I've been updating/supplementing our home emergency kit and stockpiling our pantry and home essentials. Hope I'm wrong but it definitely feels better to be prepared.

Items acquired from my last wish list:  Lulu Adjustable Buckle Sandals - snagged these on sale and they are so cute and comfortable, Peach and Lily Pore Proof Perfecting Clay Mask - mini reviewe hereThe Ordinary Saccharomyces Ferment 30% Milky Toner - mini review here,  iNNBEAUTY Project Extreme Cream - got this on sale but haven't tried it yet.

I like the aesthetics of this set of colorful glasses that are lightweight, durable and unbreakable. They're perfect for indoor use or taking outside on our terrace.

This artful design of of this sleek and stylish, compact LED lamp would make it perfect as an extra light and would also be useful in case of an emergency.

Looking at this to replace our current plant mister which has been leaking.

I don't burn candles because they can create indoor air pollution and degrade air quality. I now use a candle warmer which lets me enjoy my favorite candles by melting them to release a strong and pure fragrance that lasts twice as long as burning while eliminating indoor flames, smoke, and soot. I'm still a big fan of diffusers and use our Vitruvi Stone Infuser regularly. Lately I've been intrigued by the next generation of waterless diffusers that work like nebulizers and am contemplating getting one for our bedroom.

I'm intrigued by this device which emits a sleep-inducing red light to people relax and sleep better and deeper. I prioritize sleep for my health and am always looking for ways to improve it.

This cute set would allow us to easily convert our dining table to a table tennis table which seems fun.

My husband and I enjoy spending time out on our terrace but we're wary of mosquitoes because they can carry nasty diseases. A neighbor recommend this device as a solution. It's supposed to work by creating a 20-foot zone of mosquito protection which sounds good to me.

Thinking of getting one of these to use on our terrace in the evening and also to have on hand as an emergency light if the power goes out.

Our foot massager has seen better days and I'm considering replacing it with this foldable EMS foot pad that works via Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation like my TENS massager. It's supposed to be quite effective at increasing blood flow and circulation.

Our second money tree is in need of a bigger pot and this sleek one made of steel has a modern look that would fit our decor and it looks like it sturdy and designed to last as well.

Thank you for your honesty. And helping me be honest with myself.

Being prepared is not only good but essential.
Emergencies do happen. Electricity shot downs, storms and so on.
We should all have a home kit. We should all do some prepping really.
The state the world is in is very worrying.
It's best to be prepared.
I try to keep a good supply of supplements and vitamins.
I imagine these really come in handy in case of an emergency.
I also always try to have some water at hand...and a small supply of food that doesn't go to waste...but I should probably do more.
Anyway, political unrest is a serious think. You're doing well by being prepared.

From your list, I like the mosquito Repeller the best. I hate mosquitoes and they can be carriers for different illnesses.

Chingu, I can totally understand what you're saying. It's not that much better here in Canada, and TBH, I'm also anxious about the upcoming election there as it affects us here too:(
On a lighter note, I am totally loving that mushroom lamp. I always love your lists:)

The state of the world is really not the greatest, but I think being prepared helps ease the anxiety a bit. Something that helps me is not listening or reading too much negative news. There is so much goodness in the world as well and doing my best to contribute in a positive way helps me calm my anxiety in general. I love the plant mister and those colorful cups you are coveting! That mushroom lamp is so cute too :))

Cheers,
Tania
