How is that half of the year has passed by already?
We had our semi-annual yard sale in June and it was our best one yet. The weather was beautiful and I was able to find new homes for a load of stuff. I also had oral surgery which put me out of commission for a few days. I'm much better since I got my stitches out but still dealing with sensitivity. Not looking forward to repeating the process in a few weeks for the other side. I've also been working through all my annual health screenings. Make sure you go for yours to keep small issues from becoming big ones.

This drama was on Samsung TV and the plot seemed intriguing so we started watching it. The plot is quite original and entertaining as it's about a timid man who loses his memory after an accident. He has a diary in his possession with a detailed account of a series of murders and he believes that he is the psychopath behind them. For a show about a serial killer, it's actually lighthearted and funny at times and they show you the real killer right away. Yoon Shi Yoon is perfectly cast as the main character. Heo Sung Tae who was all kinds of creepy in Squid Game is his hilarious self appointed sidekick and Park Sung Hoon of the The Glory pulls off another brilliant villainous turn. The only downer is the female lead who can't act and always looks like there's some weird filter on her face.

I finally tried this duo of Awake and Alive oils and now I totally understand the rave reviews of this brand. The oils are bright and full of flavor and you can definitely notice a difference in quality and taste. They work nicely on salads and drizzled on top of dishes.

We eat a lot of salad throughout the year but even more often during the summer so I'm always looking for new salad recipes. We enjoy club sandwiches but don't have them very often because I don't eat bread so this club sandwich in salad form is perfect for me. It's so easy to make, light and tasty and I like that I can put my own spin on it. I personally like to add avocado and cucumbers for more creaminess and crunch. It also pairs well with different dressings. My fave is a creamy dijon vinaigrette.

Decided to ditch our fabric bathmats with this rubber-like flexible vinyl mat that has a cool vintage aesthetic and can be customized with stick-on tiles. The best part is how easy it is to clean. Just spray with cleanser, rinse down and hang dry. Ours currently says "hey" but I'm planning to change it up soon.

I bought this dress on sale recently and it's gotten a lot of wear already because the weather has been so hot. The subtly tiered silhouette and punchy color really stand out and I love how effortless and breezy it feels. I got it in an XS to for a more streamlined fit. It's still loose but doesn't look like a tent. I'm looking forward to wearing this dress for many years to come.

Snapped up this fan when I saw it on sale and it has been a difference make in keeping our apartment cool since summer decided to arrive early this year. I love the compact size and how it delivers full room air circulation quietly and efficiently. Very happy with this purchase and would totally recommend it.
