Sort Out Your Style
Let’s jump straight in by looking at your style. If you're not comfortable with your clothes that you are wearing, why are you wearing them? It doesn't matter if they are in fashion right now. It doesn't matter if that’s what everyone you know is wearing. That does not mean that this is what you have to wear if you do not feel comfortable and you do not feel confident. You should, instead, focus on wearing clothes that make you feel amazing the second you put them on. If this has not always been your experience, you really need to change that. Think about the type of image you want to project and don't be afraid to look at clothing styles that are completely different than what's currently in your closet. For example, if you are someone who always wears smart clothes, maybe go for more casual babydoll dresses, or some leggings and a sweatshirt every now and then. What you need to realize is that if you feel confident, you will project confidence. It will emanate from you, and that’s what you want.
Try Out Something New
You might also decide that you want to try out something completely new in order to bring back your confidence, and that’s fine as well. It’s not always easy to try new things as the unknown can be scary, but they can also be life changing for many people. It's important that you think this through though, as the very last thing that you need is to make yourself feel worse. This is not definitely going to happen but consider the possibility and know that you can always make a quick change back if you don’t like something. We're talking about changes like trying a new hair color or hair style which aren't permanent. Any completely permanent changes need to be taken seriously, and handled with care. Don’t do anything that you’re not 100% sure about, but if you are sure, go for it and embrace it.
Work On Getting Enough Sleep
Sleep is extremely important, whether you realize it or not. It’s one of those things that you need to be working on as much as possible until you can manage to have seven hours of sleep most nights. Of course there are going to be some days where you don’t manage for one reason or another, but that’s okay. As long as generally you are getting a decent amount of sleep, that is what matters. Getting to this point can be extremely tough for a lot of people. It’s common to have problems with sleep, but that doesn’t make it okay. Have you tried putting all of your electronics outside of your bedroom when you go to sleep? You can have an alarm clock but your phone and tablets should not be near you. Creating a sleep routine is a great idea, because it helps your brain know when it’s time for bed. Try it out, see if it works. If it doesn’t, you can make adjustments or always try another method.
Get The Support You Need
If you find yourself in need any kind of support, you shouldn't be afraid reach out and ask for it. This is something we know a lot of people struggle with, but it's also vital to learn to do if you want to be the best version of yourself. Everyone needs a little bit of help sometimes, so don’t feel embarrassed or ashamed about getting some. You might need help from a doctor for something concerning your physical or mental health. You might get help from a personal trainer to get yourself in shape if that’s your goal. You might need help from a nutritionist to assist you with your relationship with food. As long as you are working on yourself, you are working towards being the very best version of you.
Take A Look At The People Surrounding You
The last thing that we’re going to talk about is the people around you. We know this isn’t easy but you have to identify whether any of them may be a problem. If you are surrounded by people who aren't supportive or do not have your best interests at heart, who make comments about you, who tear you down rather than build you up, you should cut them out of your life. They are not worth your time, your attention or your confidence. You deserve to be surrounded by love, acceptance and support, so if someone isn’t offering you that, you can show them the door.
At the end of the day, being the best version of yourself is going to take work. It’s not just going to happen overnight just because you want it to, and it may not be the easiest thing to achieve but it will be worth it. What you have to remember is that you are the only person that you have got to impress, and you are the only person who is in charge of your health and wellbeing. Don’t ever forget that, because it’s one of the most important lessons that you will ever learn in your life. We wish you all the best on your journey and hope that you will achieve your goals.

Working on this. It’s not easy. I’m trying not to compare my life to others. That is my hardest lesson to learn. Thank you for all your love and encouragement.
