Truth

Some of us were born to be truth tellers in a world addicted to comfortable lies

The past few years have really illuminated the fact that most people would prefer to avoid the truth especially if it inconveniences them in any way. The world is not a great place right now and it can be hard to admit that but the truth doesn't magically change just because we choose to ignore it, not to mention some of the worst lies are those we tell ourselves. I admit that I try to insulate myself from the news at times but I also get that there certain things that you can't "just good vibes" your way out of. I'd rather acknowledge a problem and get ahead of it than FAFO. Remember that being informed is your friend and you don't have to do anything that goes against your own best interest just because everyone else is. And stop making people who are willing to point out the facts the bad guys.

I'm afraid that people will always have 'blame the messenger' mentality.
Sometimes arguing with people isn't worth it, because many people don't realize that it is possible for the majority to be wrong, for the news to be biased and so on.

I’ve learned this. It’s hard. Thank you for always being truthful with me even if it hurts, because I know your heart. And you’re a person of good character and morals. God has blessed me with your presence. May you be blessed richly. Love you friend.

Hear hear, chingu! So many people (perhaps even me sometimes) get so scared of the truth that it becomes easy to ignore it. May we always have the courage to stand up and face what is right and true.
