Wish List, Shopping, rolala loves

It's been awhile since I've done one of these. This wishlist is mostly about practical replacements. To be honest, I don't really shop much anymore as I really do subscribe to the notion of living better with less. This means that I try to make sure I get the most use out of everything in my home and most of the time I won't buy new until it's time to replace something. I've adapted this practice to my wardrobe as well. Mindful consumption has been life changing and it's good to not be someone who needs retail therapy to feel better. That what my hobbies and language learning is for.

Items acquired from my last wish list: None

Crafted from upcycled offcuts of full-grain leather, this whimsical charm that stylishly safeguards an Apple AirTag, securely attaches to accessories. Such a fun new way to personalize.

Designed by dental experts and people who hated flossing, this sleek electric flosser is supposed to make flossing less of a chore. The ergonomic design and sonic vibration technology gets into even the most difficult-to-reach spaces, while still being gentle on your gums. Flossing is necessary and i'm all for anything that makes it easier.

I've been using retinal (aka Retinaldehyde) because it is estimated to be up to 20 times more effective than traditional retinol. I want to try this super potent treatment which uses a patented stabilizing delivery system for optimal results. It's safe for sensitive skin and helps to improve the appearance of lines, wrinkles, blemishes, and uneven skin tone.

This gentle and effective gel to milk facial cleanser works to thoroughly cleanse, removing makeup including waterproof mascara and sunscreen without over drying skin or irritating eyes. It is also EWG Verified, fragrance-free and cruelty-free which are factors that are important to me in my skincare.

While I still love and get much use out of my Vitamix, I don't want to haul it out every time I make a smoothie so I've been looking at acquiring this small but substantial blender which I've been hearing good things about. Packed with a ton of functionality on a tiny footprint. it can prepare smoothies as well as smooth-as-silk salad dressings and soups. It is also powerful enough to crush ice and grind coffee beans and more.

Our almost 10 year old Breville Toaster Oven is on it's last legs and I'm very close to replacing it with this 13-in-1 COSORI which not only boasts similar aesthetics but has many more useful features including air fry, sous vide and rotisserie. I'm very curious about the sous vide function as it seems like a very healthy and tasty way to cook food.

I sold my black Ellie Nap Dress because I lost weight and it didn't fit that well. I did love the style with their proprietary, elasticated Nap Smocking, ruffled shoulders, tiered midi skirt, and pockets. It was so soft, comfortable, flattering and 100% cotton. The color and tonal shadow striping of this burgundy dress is very appealing and it's on major sale right now.

FitFlop has become one of my favorite shoe brands for their ergonomically engineered footwear which help optimize the body's alignment, natural movement & energy. These sleek metallic Mary Janes caught my eye when they were first introduced as part of the Song Hye Kyo collection when her brand partnership was announced. Now available in North America, I think they could be the perfect replacement to a similar Cole Haan pair that I have totally worn down and probably should have thrown out years ago. They will look great dressed up or down.

I was going to get a Beast mini but I liked my mini Ninja. We also have a Vitamix but it's great to be able to make a smoothie or blend a sauce without having to clean the larger blender. Hope your February is going well, Rowena. /Madison

I think it's a good idea to put a stop to indiscriminate consumption. I try to add only what I like from each season's trends. In some cases I'm choosing to make some clothes myself and save money. The dress is gorgeous and has a color that I love.
