I'd Wear That

I love my denim and swear by my Citizens of Humanity and Frame jeans. While my denim game may be a bit boring, it works because the ones in my wardrobe which I've worn for years are in classic silhouettes and hues of blue. I have no desire to try barrel jeans which I don't understand at all. Like why would I want my legs to look short, stumpy and bow legged? My goal with my outfits is always to look as tall and lean as possible which is why I only wear straight leg and skinny styles.

I recently came upon this image of Liya Kebede in pink jeans and I think I might need to get on the colored denim wagon. First off the outfit itself is just so chic and the blush pink jeans look so fresh, wearable and effortlessly cool. I love how they make a statement while adding a pop of color and fun. I think this shade of pink is perfect for creating subtle looks. I can see them paired with a dark colors and nude accessories for an understated ensemble. A flowy blouse can add a feminine touch while a graphic tee can lend an edgy vibe. You can't go wrong pairing them with neutral colors white, black, or beige while jewel tones like burgundy or navy can create stunning contrasts. The possibilities are endless for dressing them up or down.
