I'd Wear That

I know not everyone is into them but Bermuda shorts are having a fashion moment right now. As someone who only wears midi hem lengths, I'm personally a big fan. Straddling a line between modest and modern, Bermuda shorts are more stylish, more comfortable and cooler than a pair of pants in the heat and certainly more appropriate for all occasions than booty shorts. 

When it comes to styling, Bermuda shorts can bring a sense of contemporary versatility to a variety of looks ranging from casual to polished. I'm digging this monochromatic minimalist look that strikes a balance between ease and elegance. Depending on the accessories paired with it, this outfit formula can easily transition between relaxed or refined. The choice of shoes alone can quickly transform the entire vibe. I wore a version of this outfit with a layered tank, windbreaker and silver flats when it was cooler. Today it's hot and I'm wearing my shorts with a striped tank and colorful sandals. The tailored pair I have is made of flowy linen and after 8 years they’re still going strong.  They’re the only pair of shorts I own because this is really the only the silhouette I like but I do get so much wear out of them.
