Rena : Hot Summer Days

Top: Barbie Model Muse // Ice Cream: Re-Ment

I realize it's been awhile since I've done a post featuring Rena and Ian and I still need to write one about their beginnings. Summer is in full swing and so is the summer weather so Rena got a sweet treat to cool off with. Ian didn't tag along since he really doesn't like being out in the heat but nothing can stop Rena from getting her favorite ice cream. Isn't her mini cone the cutest? It's from a Japanese manufacturer called Re-Ment that produces the most fantastically detailed miniatures. I'm quite sad that they don't put out new collections anymore. Anyway NYC seems to be enveloped in a heat wave recently and it makes me want to eat ice cream all the time. What do you like to enjoy when it's hot?

Wow, that is seriously the smallest, most detailed thing I've seen in a while. Can you eat ice cream this summer? My acutorturist last summer told me to avoid cold, sweet things and all I could think was, "no ice cream???". I only went to the ice cream stand once though.

Hope it's cooler for you there today! The heat has been terrible.

Rowena, this is too frickin' cute! Are you going to do a print of this for purchase on Etsy? I so want to purchase this. I love her sundress and that ice cream cone is amazing. They can make faux food look so real. Love! Thank you so much for your comment. So far, so good! HaHa But they did say afternoon and evening storms, so I'll stay vigilant! hahaha

yes NYC is quite hot and humid these days and walking through puddles of rain trying to get to the train station on time is also not that great in NYC, i am quite sad though that my internship is over this coming week. Eehh I want Rena's ice-cream but it would only be a lick of ice-cream for real humans. also i meant kang ho dung and not boom, argh i got mixed with names lol, i knew it was wrong gosh darn it. i haven;t watched Big this week yet but my mom is also obsessed (including Dr. Jin and Sungkyunkwan Scandal and now she has vowed to quote k-dramas after she watches those, we'll see about that). The drama is just going a bittttttttt too slow but i must finish it, only a few episodes left.

i was also looking at re-ment. not like i can actually use them but i want to buy everything, miniatures are so cute with the mini cupcakes and little flower sunny sides ups. ahhh

It's actually mesmerizing just staring at your doll. What a stunner. I can't believe they have this mini cone! Reminds me of a little shop in Bath that sells detailed mini items to fit into a dollhouse.
