Color Love : Pastels

No matter what colors are trending for the season, Spring always has me coveting items in candy colored pastels. I tend to pair mine with neutrals to avoid looking like an Easter egg. Are you a fan of pastel shades? How do you wear them?

I actually love pastels, but seem to largely wear only pastel blues. My kids get to wear all kinds of pastel shades though, and I love pastels all around me -- on my walls, in my candy, on my crafts... :)

Hi Rowena! Love pastel shades too! All your finds are so nice, in particular I like the sweater, the trench, the bag and the flats!:) Kisses and happy Friday! xo

I personally don't wear too many bright colors, but pastels sure are fun to look at! :)

I love looking at pastel shades, liking and pinning them on fashion stuff I like but I just can't carry pastel shades off. I'm either in nudish earthy tones, bold colours or black. Isn't the pastel trench coat so pretty?

Beautiful colours. The trousers are absolutely gorgeous. Pastels-wise, I wear them a lot. In autumn and winter I pair them with greys, browns and blacks and in summer - add something white or just wear as is. :)

These colors are just so sweet Rowena. I have a big crush on pastel colors but haven't owned a piece yet. That pleated skirt gets me dreaming, so pretty.

Thank you for recommending a cure for seasonal allergy Rowena. I normally rake Zyrtex but it makes me so drowsy. I will have to try your method.

I generally dress pretty darn monochrome but something about spring gets me excited for all the girly, pastel dresses. Birds are chirping, I didn't need a coat today, and I actually saw a bunny yesterday so it looks like spring finally decided to get its act together!

I was considering that herringbone sweater the other day but the colors are all wrong for me to wear. I look washed out in pastels because I'm so pale. The flats are nice as well!

I think I consider watching a melo to be "suffering" because I cry too easily at them :) but that doesn't stop me from watching. Good luck with the saeguk, I haven't ever gotten into a historical drama from any country. I'd rather read about history, I don't know why movies don't hold my interest. I hope it's good though and that you enjoy it, LSG will probably make it worth watching! I'm watching Flower Boy Next Door and enjoying it a lot right now.

I hope you had a chance to enjoy your balcony since the weather has gotten a bit warmer. Hopefully they don't do construction on the weekends! As far as manhole covers, I think I wind up taking a lot of photos of grates and similar items when I'm in NY, I'm not sure the locations though. Have a great weekend!

I find that I look better in more saturated colours (at least that's what I always tell myself!) But those ballet flats are adorable.
