Eye Candy : Song Hye Kyo & Jo In Sung for High Cut

Despite being so over winter, I was quite awed by the beauty of it in this High Cut Korea editorial that goes behind the scenes of the drama That Winter, The Wind Blows. It just makes the cold weather and snow look positively idyllic. These lighthearted images in which Song Hye Kyo and Jo In Sung frolic playfully in the snow belie the angst of the series where her character is a blind heiress and his is a con man who is pretending to be her long lost brother. Can you say melodrama and faux incest? I haven't really checked into this one yet but I've heard the acting is stellar and the cinematography looks stunning so I may be tempted. And it certainly doesn't hurt that the cast is so easy on the eyes. Is anyone else liking Jo In Sung's aqua coat? I would love one in that color.

I've been asked where to watch Asian dramas.  Viki and Dramafever are two sites I use and there is also a selection of Korean dramas available on Hulu Plus and Netflix.

I'm with you Rowena! I want to stop being cold and feel the warmth of the sun against my skin.
I hope we both get our wish soon! :-)) And thank you so much for your lovely comments.
I always appreciate them!

Wishing you a lovely weekend!
I'm off to Rome next week so maybe I'll post some lovely pics of my trip at the end of the month.

Gorgeous images! I love the idea of a snowy winter with lots of sunshine and sparkle. I never feel cold when it snows properly. Although I must admit, with the weather we are having right now I cannot wait for the spring to come! x

Interesting, is this a movie? These photos are great. Love the shots of the set too! Ha I work at a magazine and have been on set and we have outside on super hot days but never in the snow. Well they did once but that was before I worked there. Wow I can just imagine!

Does Song Hye Kyo ever age? o.O

I've been obsessed with Asian dramas too (particularly of the TVB variety).

Shooting this editorial must have been so much fun!! Its so different from the bored model glances and wooden poses we usually see. This is sprightly and has such a great optimism about it. Lurv that turquoise coat. Thanks for your visit, I think there would be a lot of interest in your foodie side!! Have a great weekend sweety!

I agree that snow does look fun! Sadly, we always seem to get much more than that here and by the time I'm done shoveling it all up I don't want to see it anymore. I haven't heard of this drama but I will assume I would cry through it. :)

The hotdogs weren't from Japadog but it had the same ingredients and look at a one person place in Boston. One of the people who went on the outing had previously had japadog so he knew what it was.

D&B does have styles that don't appeal to me but they have zippered pieces that are less trendy and I like that. They have some styles that the sales person at Nordstrom called "kooky". I thought that was hilarious.

Do you make the tofu pouches? That is the part I probably wouldn't be able to figure out. I don't know why they are so yummy but they are. :) I think dumpling making is hard, I only tried once and they always fell apart when I tried to re-cook them. Your husband is great at it with all those perfect little folds.

Hi Rowena sweet ... I'm with you, so over winter but when you can sit in the house at your laptop watching others romp in the cold snow, it somehow makes it so much more glamorous lol! And I'm also with you on the aqua coat ... would LOVE one in that color .. don't think I've ever even thought of having a coat in that color but now that I've seen it I think I must find one! ;) Hope you're having a fab weekend, darling ~ xo ~S

These pictures remind me of childhood days when even bad weather was an opportunity to have some fun. The chemistry between the couple makes the editorial lively, dreamy and romantic. The girl is gorgeous. Thanks for sharing this with us :)

Ha! Were all saying this drama is just too pretty for words and High Cut seemed to agree with us? Oh, to be as photogenic as Song Hye Kyo and Jo In Sung!! It just snowed here, but I unfortunately (or fortunately?) didn't have a hot, leggy faux-brother to keep me company.

Rowena @ rolala loves said...

I know right?! She just seems to be getting prettier O_o
Ahh TVB dramas! I totally grew up on those :)

Rowena @ rolala loves said...

They sure are gorgeous and make the snow look so lovely and romantic! I wasn't going to watch this drama but I'm so hooked on it now.

I watch this drama too, Rowena :) I think they make the cutest couple!!! Do you also watch Yawang? It's really good, you should try it, it's all about revenge hehe :D
