What I'm Wearing : Floral Print Shoes

Confession time. While I may be swooning over pretty shoes on here, I'm technically on a shoe ban at the moment. I recently cleaned out my closet and found a number of pairs of shoes that have either never been worn or just worn once. The number is more than I care to admit but not quite enough to constitute a problem. Please tell me I'm not the only one. These floral print wedges are a few years old and they're one of my Spring favorites. Hubster actually picked them out. I never really gave much consideration to printed shoes because I have alot of prints in my wardrobe but these are just perfect on the days when I'm wearing a monochromatic or less patterned look. Do you own any printed shoes?

I love those shoes, your husband did a great job picking them out! I have a ton of printed shoes because for a while, I was afraid of wearing pattern or didn't find any I thought was nice. I have polka dots, stripes, snake print, Missoni for Target zig zags, and a purple leopard pair.

I hope you have a great weekend and you have nice weather to enjoy!

O, these are so pretty -- you should wear them more. I love printed shoes, though I'd never wear them! I sometimes just drool over the J.Crew ones, but go right back to my old boots haha

I don't but I want to! These are so chic, I have such a problem with ballet flats. The thing is I have long toes and my second toe is longer then the first and when I wear them in my size they totally squish my toes and are too tight but when I go up a half size to compensate then they are way to big and flop off my feet :( but occasionally I come across a pair that is comfortable but they generally have a strap.

i love them! Though you say you wear a lot of printed tops, I don't think prints should be confined there! Your husband has great taste too btw!
I have leopard heels and floral embroidered flats - love them both!

I love the saturated colour, the shoes look pretty! I actually wear most all of my shoes, but I do have several pairs that don't get as much wear as others during the week. I tend to wear a handful of the same pairs, until the weekend. Enjoy your weekend! xx:)

I dont own any but these are just too pretty. Haven't seen anything like them.

I used to hoard so many pairs of shoes Rowena. However i wanna slapped myself when i cleaned out my closet a year ago. There were so much stuff that i didnt wear or only wore once. This happened EVERY year to the point i told myselfmy something had toa change. Since then i become a minimalist. Try to limit to buying 3 pairs a year or less.

Cute and perfect for Spring! :) I don't own a ton of shoes (compared to most women) so now I'm curious what your number is. :P

You're not the only one Rowena, I am guilty of shoe hoarding too, I am hopefully going to try and follow your example and try to wear some of those hidden shoe closet treasures. I adore this pretty printed pair, I personally love printed shoes more than prints on clothes. Thanks for your lovely comment...have a great start to the weekend!

You are so not the only one... my mum went through the garage the other day and she asked me if I remembered leaving a suitcase full of shoes! OMG, I'd totally forgotten about them, but it is such a lovely surprise, as it means I won't have to buy anything! Found some amazing wedges for summer, but can't wear them yet... plus they're a little on the high side too, so might be safer to avoid them for a while!

Happy Weekend sweetpea!

Those shoes are so cute! I am also guilty of wearing shoes only once. Or nonce. I think I only have one pair of printed shoes - they are black and pink leopard print and I haven't worn them in about 3 years!

I am pleading guilty as charged :) I, too, have too many pairs of shoes in my closet, that don't get all the attention they deserve. I guess I really have a weakness for "bookshelf" shoes :) But this is such a perfect find, sweetie, floral heels are all the rage this spring, so you'll be right on trend :) They are gorgeous and your hubby has a great taste!

PS: I received my prints today, and they are PER-FECT! I'm obsessed :) And I already have two spots for them on my gallery wall: can't wait to share the pics once it's finished!

Have a wonderful week, hun!

Love the shot of your shoes Rowena! I'm usually quite conservative and boring with shoes and I don't have a lot of colour in my wardrobe. Maybe because I'm a capricorn, however, after reading this, you gave me an idea. I definitely don't like prints on my clothes, except in my accessories, but now it makes me think that having prints on shoes is a pretty good idea to add some colour and pizzazz without feeling self-conscious.

:-))

I absolutely love your floral print shoes Rowena! Ooh, I have problematic feet and so I don't buy as many shoes and yet I have so many which are left unworn after only wearing them a few times. Guilty as charged.

Really cute shoes Rowena! And your hubby has such a great taste! :) My husband don't choose anything for me these days cause I never like what he chooses for me :P hehe

I'm not much of a shoe person! I'd love nothing more than to wonder the streets without shoes on, haha! However I do have quite a number of shoes for someone that isn't a fan.

Your floral ballets look lovely! Your hubs did well!
