Shoe Crush : Louis Vuitton

Okay I'm working a bit of a shoe crush as well as a photo crush here. This stunning image is part of the Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall 2013 Campaign photographed by Koto Bolofo. The model is Dree Hemingway and the location is the historic Hôtel de Crillon in Paris. These dazzlers, aptly named the Movie Star Sandal in Satin and Sequins features a transparent plexiglass wedge with more than 300 sequins painstakingly embroidered onto the curved heels. The artful shape of this shoe is so very glamorous and sexy at the same time. The Louis Vuitton website doesn't list a price for them but I imagine they'd be quite pricey. Get a fascinating look at the impressive production process inside the Louis Vuitton shoe factory. A bit of good news, I''m out of my ankle brace and getting to wear the object of my last shoe crush.

The pattern is super pretty...but I'm not really a fan of the glass wedge. Sequins also sound like they could fall off easily, no? Haha =w=

There are a few pairs of LV shoes from the past and presents that increase my heart beat dramatically. I can easily pass the bags, but not the shoes. So beautiful... x

If I was a super fancy person and could actually wear heels without falling and/or tripping regularly I would love to have something similar to that. :)

So funny.. I had a pair of plexiglass wedges when I was in my early twenties. They were popular because they were said to length the leg ~ well I don't know if they did that but they were all the rage. These are certainly not like those ;) I can't imagine wearing them ..a princess shoe:)
