Sporty Chic For Spring

J. Crew, J. Crew Spring

I've decided that I'm done with winter so I'm just fast forwarding to spring now (in my mind anyway). When I saw this image pop up on J. Crew, I just knew that I'd have to adopt this look as a variation on my spring uniform of striped tees, skinny jeans, trench coats and ballet flats. As much as I love my dresses, I also definitely have a sporty side as well. I think this outfit is so effortlessly chic yet polished. The key is the tailored blazer and the streamlined fit of the sweatpants as well as the fashionable sneakers. It's perfect for the weekend or running errands. Do you have a tomboy/sporty side?

Hi Rowena, I have a zero percent of a sporty side but seeingakers everywear at fashion week is tempting me to get a pair. It looks really cute! Thanks for sharing your opinion on my last post.

Love this look and the bag she is wearing... I think my sporty side only goes as far as wearing jeans... I also have a certain skirt that I wear with tank tops. Then it ends for me. :)

Hi Rowena! I do have a sporty side too! And Im just drooling over this look from J. Crew, definitely it inspires me for the next Spring, is effortless chic and what I love most is how the blazer and the bag give a very classy and refined mood to the combo, without them it would been just a casual and usual sporty outfit. What I dislike regarding the sporty chic trend is to pair sneakers with evening dresses, as Chanel did! Kisses dear, have a good day! xo

Her look is so adorable and Ha! Yes, sporty tomboy dressing--it's my downfall, at least it will be in style this year :)

They sure take a sporty style to the next level, the pairing looks so good I want that bag and a pair of Nike shoes. I rarely wear skirt so this fits the bill. I mean sweatpants never look this chic, Rowena.

I don't think anyone who knows me would say I'm sporty, but I would like to incorporate some sporty pieces into my wardrobe! I kind of want to try the slip on sneakers that I've been seeing everywhere.

I definitely have a sporty side too but I usually put a feminine spin on it. I love J. Crew and I think they make everything look chic. I'm done with winter too. I feel like my vitamin d supply is low and I need to be recharged by the warmth of summer. Hope you have a warm and lovely weekend. :)
