Exuviance Bionic Oxygen Facial

Exuviance Review

I definitely believe in the power of oxygen considering this facial treatment that I had recently. Oxygen has proven skin benefits because it stimulates the body's natural healing function. It is also anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and enhances collagen production. If you can't get to the the spa, you can still get similar results in an at home treatment with a product like the Exuviance Bionic Oxygen Facial.

About the Brand: Exuviance was created by Doctors Van Scott and Yu, widely recognized as leaders in the field of cosmetic dermatology. They discovered the anti-aging benefits of Glycolic Acid and created and patented the first Glycolic Peel. Exuviance has continued to develop many new patented anti-aging ingredients backed by evidence from numerous scientific and clinical studies. Recognized around the world, Exuviance formulas are expertly developed to visibly transform skin by combining their patented innovations with the best, state of the art technologies available in dermatology today.

Product Claims: Exuviance Bionic Oxygen Facial contains a triple oxygenating blend that delivers a spa-quality treatment at home as a fast fix for stressed skin.  A single use of Bionic Oxygen Facial envelops skin in a delightful oxygenating experience, revealing skin that looks and feels revitalized, refreshed and radiant.

Key Ingredients: A PHA/Bionic Blend adds extra youth-promoting benefits to restore radiance and suppleness. A revitalizing infusion of molecular oxygen detoxifies and eliminates dullness, helping to trigger cellular energy and optimize collagen.

Exuviance Review

My Thoughts: The product should be applied to clean damp skin. It dispensed out of the bottle as a light blue gel. The texture is almost watery and I don't know how else to say this but it has a weird chemical scent. I'm just glad I can turn off my sense of smell cause I found it a little off-putting. I applied about 4 - 5 pumps to my damp, clean face. It goes on smooth at first and it turns into a white foam after a minute or so. The bubbles were cool and airy and I could feel the effervescence on the surface of my face as if it were working to clean out my pores. And the funky smell kind of went away at this point as well. After 8 minutes the bubbles began dissolving on their own and the foam slowly dissipated and sank in to my skin. The residue was a tad sticky and I had to rinse for a good while until it felt like I got it completely off. The upside was my skin did feel detoxed, refreshed and super smooth afterwards. This is also suitable for use following an at home peel or exfoliation treatment which makes sense since it promotes healing. I have tried using this mask in conjunction with the Exuviance Triple Microdermabrasion Face Polish and the results were even better. I swear I woke up to super radiant skin the next morning. Unpleasant scent aside, this mask does work. This product is safe for all skin types and it didn't irritate my dry and sensitive skin in any way. You can use it up to 3 - 4 times a week. Right I'm not sure I would repurchase because it is a tad expensive but that would also depend on continued results.

Exuviance Bionic Oxygen Facial is available for sale through the company's website as well as Ulta and SkinStore.

Have you ever tried any oxygenating skin care treatments?

Wait! How do you turn off your smelling capabilities! I am super intrigued. This seems like something I wish I could master for myself. Smells really make me gag sometimes. Especially lotions that have that awful chemical smell. I have a hand cream like that. It's wondrous on the skin and like roadkill to the nose.

I don't much like the idea of the skin feeling slight sticky and needing to be rinsed again, though I like the sound of the product's anti-imflammotary qualities! Your close-up shots are incredible by the way Rowena, I've been deliberating over getting new lenses and I think this may be the push I was in need of :)

I totally believe that oxygen infused products have many benefits to the skin. This product is very interesting. I like the fact that it is suitable for all skin types and I'm sure that the chemical smell can be ignored in the light of the benefits this facial bionic provides. Great photos too!

For some reason, weird chemical smells don't bother me as much on skin care products. It's the sweet fruit-scents on my face that I don't really like, so this probably will be great for me to try:) I must say, I'm seriously jealous of your skin care routine. I wish I'm not a lazy hat sometimes!

That's unfortunate about the smell and stickiness. Hmm, I don't think this is something that I'd use or buy, but love your review. Right now, I've been using red clay masks and anti-stress Skyn Iceland cleansing pads that I love for this. Hopefully with your continued results it will be worth a repurchase for you.

I've never tried that brand but I really like the Dr Brandt oxygen facial I've been using, it's super moisturizing and brightening on me and done in 5 minutes. Maybe the smell is an issue with all these oxygen products because the one I have smells like glue. I agree, the price is a bit much as wel.

I have never tried or even read a review on a product such as this, what a strange mask but hey, what matters most is it worked. Definitely need to check for this brand availability in Canada.

Rowena, you always introduce me to some amazing new brands that I've never heard of before. And this one is definitely one I've never seen. I don't like the idea of the unpleasant smell but I am so happy it worked. Nothing worse then a product that doesn't work.

Oh this sounds like it can really work wonders, I like that it is not irritating as I used a Perricone product that left me with an allergic reaction for a month after I stopped using the product.

When a product has a smell that I perceive as strange, I somehow cannot get myself to like it. The packaging looks great but from your review, I don't feel tempted to try it.
