RevivLash Lash and Brow Stimulating Serum Review & Giveaway

RevivLash Lash and Brow Stimulating Serum, RevivLash

I'm not sure if I every talked about this before on here but when I was very ill a few years ago, I lost a small section of lashes on my right eye. I didn't even notice when or how this happened but it was jarring when I made the discovery. It wasn't even on one end. I was missing a small chunk right in the center. Considering I was losing a battle to vertigo and couldn't even lift my left arm over my head at that time, this wasn't really such a big deal in the scheme of things but still it bothered me. I mean my eye looked off and I felt like I couldn't ever go out with mascara. That was really the first time I considered using a lash growth product and once I started, I've been using them on and off. That length of eyelash did grow back eventually and in my experience these types of products can work to enhance my lashes which are probably naturally medium both in length and fullness. Talika Lipocils Expert is probably my favorite. I've also tried RevitaLash and RapidLash with some degree of success especially with the latter. I had just run out of my last tube of Lipocils when I had the chance to try out this RevivLash Lash and Brow Stimulating Serum.

About the Brand: RevivSerums is a company based in San Francisco, California that specializes in innovative professional grade treatment serums for skin and hair rejuvenation. They aim to create products that are equivalent to famous physician office brands using innovative cosmetic chemistry and provide them to consumers at competitive prices.

RevivLash Lash and Brow Stimulating Serum, RevivLash

Product Claims: RevivLash can significantly help improve the appearance of lash and brow density, strength, natural color and overall health. It can work similarly to prescription brand Latisse, but ReviLash is prostaglandin-free and can work when Latisse "tops out." It is also less than half the price and can be purchased without a prescription.

Key Ingredients: RevivLash Lash and Brow Stimulating Serum is the first product of it's kind to include Redensyl which won In-Cosmetics 2014 Silver Award for Best Personal Care Ingredient. This ingredient combines two patented Induchem molecules to target follicle stems cells. Keratinocyte Growth Factor, a member of the fibroblast growth factor family which has been shown to help stimulate lash growth. Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17 and Octapeptide-2 are two potent peptides that stimulate keratin and can help prevent the inhibitory effects of BMP4 on hair follicle development and help stop depigmentation in hair. Grape Seed Proanthocyanidins help micro-circulation, follicle atrophy caused by dihydrotestosterone, and follicle aging. Coconut endosperm is the perfect cell food and plays a pivotal role in supporting tissue growth while offering potent moisturizing and conditioning properties. RevivLash is also specifically formulated to reduce potential for the irritation that occurs with other eyelash restoration products.

Packaging: The product comes in a mascara like tube and dispenses via a sponge tip applicator like what you would see with lip glosses.

Price: Usually $100 /on sale for $49 for one (0.25 oz / 8 ml) tube

How To Use: You're supposed to the product before use and apply a small amount once or twice a day along the upper and lower lash lines, and if desired, on each eyebrow. Blot up excess and avoid direct contact with eyes. Apply for at least 2-4 weeks to see first visible effects; for best results apply for 6-8 weeks.

RevivLash Lash and Brow Stimulating Serum, RevivLash

My Thoughts:  Following the instructions, I've been using this serum at night on my lashes and brows after my skincare routine. The serum itself has a gel like texture with a kind of chemical scent that didn't really bother me since it doesn't smell unless you actually actively sniff it. I don't really enjoy the application on my lashes because I find the sponge applicator a little big and awkward. I would honestly prefer if it were a smaller brush. I applied the product too close once and it got in my eye and stung like crazy until I was able to rinse it. Yeah don't do that. I've used it for almost two weeks now and I can't say that I've really seen any any increase in length or fullness in my lashes yet but I could swear that the ends of both my eyebrows look fuller already. This has definitely given me some hope for this product and I will be continuing my usage of it. In a 60-day, 28-person consumer study of RevivLash, 97% of testers said their eyelashes appeared longer or fuller, and 88% of respondents who applied the product to their brows said their eyebrows appeared thicker or fuller. If I can achieve these types of results in two months, I'd be very happy. I think that this product is competitively priced especially when on sale considering there are a number of lash growth/conditioning products that cost upwards of $100.

RevivLash Lash and Brow Stimulating Serum is available for sale through the RevivSerums website. The brand is running a giveaway for their RevivLash Serums. Five lucky winners will receive a $100 product currently on sale for $49. This giveaway is open in the United States and Canada (except Quebec). You can enter below or through this link.

Are you currently using a serum in your skincare routine? How is it working for you?

This was a very timely post for me, since I actually used up my own lash stimulating product over the weekend. I don't stick to one brand, I strive to try different types of product, and I'll be curious to read your thoughts on this one after 6-8 weeks of using it. I hope you'll write an update!
Have a wonderful Monday, my dear!

Thanks for this review, Rowena:) TBH, I'd probably use something like this for my eyebrows but not my lashes just coz I'm one of those people who are kinda afraid to even put contact lenses on:P

I have used one in the past that worked (and then was discontinued) and one that didn't. At the moment I am staying clear of them due to breastfeeding, but I will try some again as soon as I can.

Too bad the giveaway is US and Canada only, since I'd love to try this product! I am sorry to hear you've experienced such an illness, but how come this affected your lashes? It's really weird. Anyway, thank God there is a product that helped you with this. Glad to hear you are happy with the product Rowena! Have a nice day!

I have yet to use a brow or lash serum but I saw some really impressive before and after photos by bloggers I trust, so I'm sure these products really work. Just like with everything, it is about finding the one that works for us. I would totally be ready to give on a try. My eyebrows are ok, not really thick but they have a decent shape and they're easy to fill in. My eyelashes are anything but thick so I would probably try this product on them. Too bad that the application is a bit tricky, but all in all it seems like a good product and one worth a try.

Great review, Rowena! I am using Rapidlash but the only difference that it made to my lashes is they are stronger and doesn't break as easily. There was no change in length or thickness. I have been thinking of using Talika and now that I read you like it, I will give it a try.

Thx for your honest review, Rowena. I am one of the lucky ones who have long lashes and a lot of them too. So there's no need to use these products. Happy Monday, girl.

Wow, what a snowfall in NYC. Great little video snippet though. Regarding any serum or growth product for my lashes, I have not used any. My lashes are pretty long and quite thick, which is actually annoying sometimes when I have allergy attacks. Thanks for the review and sharing your experience. Good luck to everyone.

Wow, not sure what I'd do if I ever lost part of my lashes. But since I wear falsies every day, I guess that it wouldn't be noticeable. I have often heard of lash growth products but never tried any!

I'm sorry to hear about your illness - though I'm glad you got past it. It can be the little things that are the last nail in the coffin when you're feeling down.

It's so funny I came across this post on your blog today, I was just thinking about getting eyelash extensions! I have very short, stubby eyelashes, even with tons of mascara you can barely see them. Definitely excited for the chance!

Oh wow Rowena! I didn't know you lost lashes due to your illness :( How devastating! The body reacts in the strangest way when sick. I have lengthy lashes, but I need help with the volume part. So this may work for me. Oooh, I hate when something makes the eyes sting. Overall it sounds like a good product.

I am definitely intrigued by these lash serums. Let us know how your lashes feel in 2 months! I've randomly lost a chunk of eyelashes too and would love to find something to help it grow back!
