Cute Doll Couple, Pullip Doll Couple

Loving... the warm up (like finally!) and seeing NYC in bloom. Winter returned briefly and totally confused all the flowers and trees. The cherry blossoms downstairs are starting to peek out. Vintage photo of Rena and Ian daydreaming under the blossoms.

Listening... to CN Blue's Blueming. Totally loving their new song You're So Fine!

Eating... lots of avocados. Our local market has been selling organic avocados for $1 each. It's too good a deal to pass up and my skin is totally reaping the benefits. Baked eggs in avocado is a current favorite.

Drinking... homemade matcha green tea lattes. I don't know why I stopped having these but I love them again.

Trying... oil pulling again. I have a strong gag reflex which coconut oil seemed to exacerbate but it's not as bad when I use sesame oil.

Stopped by... Salvation Burger but the wait for a table was like an hour for dinner so we'll have to swing by another time. I guess everyone wants to try their much talked about $25 burger.

Watching... baseball again. The Yankees have gotten off to an inconsistent start but 162 games is a long season so they still have plenty of time to get better. Hoping to make it to Yankee stadium for a game this year.

Wearing... my trench coats and light parkas. I just cleaned our winter coats and packed them away.

Just ordered... these sneakers. It's rare that I fall in love with something and immediately get them but I did just that with these Vejas since I could totally see them going with so many things in my closet.

Looking forward... to checking out this public art installation featuring cute and massive bunnies on display at Brookfield Place.

What's up with you?

I'd love to know what is in a $25 burger. That is expensive! Especially for American standards. Also those sneakers are super cool

Egg in an avokado? I haven't tried that one before. I like the taste of avocado but I have only eaten this fruit on its own (or together with other fruit). I've never tried actually doing sth with it (apart from using it as a face mask once but that's another topic) or mixing it with other foods. I know that a lot of people use avocado in cooking, I know it supposedly combines well with lots of dishes, but I still have to find out about it.

green tea latte sounds good, but I think I just prefer drinking green tea on its own. I love to drink it that way.

Oil pulling is something I didn't try yet, but I'm considering it. I have coconut oil in my fridge and I sometimes use it for beauty purpuses (not for cooking) so I might give it a go.

Wearing trench while the weather is transitional is ....well, probably the best time to wear it. It is not too heavy and it is not too light. Perfect Spring item if there ever was one.

I hope you'll be happy with the sneakers you've ordered.:) A good pair of sneakers will always make our day brighter!

Finally, I have to say I'm just in love with that photograph....Spring is in the air...love is in the air...

Warm weather certainly brings me joy, and I love seeing all the blooming flowers as well. Matcha green tea lattes are so good, and very easy to make, so I'm with you on loving those.

I love personal update posts, it's nice to have a little peak on what's going on in the blogger's life. And wow, $1 for an organic avocado is seriously a good deal, I would have been hoarding them!

It's actually cold here today so my poor blooms in my front yard are totally confused. Right now honestly I crave any and everything I can eat and drink. I can tell the clothes are getting tight. Cute sneakers!

The sneakers are a great choice! They look very appropriate for spring, especially when the weather is warm now in NYC and you packed your winter clothes away. I am also enjoying spring and all the green areas around town. Also, did a bit of spring shopping. Have a nice weekend, Rowena! xo

So glad the weather has turned warmer there Rowena! I know it feels good. We're now going through storms. LOL I tried oil pulling and loved it. But I stopped and need to resume. I usually do it right before I shower. It makes it a little easier to keep in your mouth. I bet their burgers are really good. Avocados have excellent benefits!
