Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II

Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II ($65 - $185) is an award winning global best seller with more than 8 bottles sold around the world every minute. It is also the #1 serum in the US. This repair serum which is suitable for all skin types, works by maximizing the power of the skin's natural nighttime renewal cycle with an exclusive ChronoluxCB Technology that works to dramatically reduce visible signs of aging; improving the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, hydrating skin, and creating a refreshed and more even toned complexion.

This product is a skincare classic for one very good reason. It works! This is one of my mom's favorite serums which I have used it before and liked. Now that this product and I have been reintroduced, I'm wondering why I didn't go back to it sooner. Oh yeah, I tend to get entranced by new and shiny skincare. Anyway since I've been using this again, I can understand it's well regarded reputation. The serum itself is clear and peachy in color with a lightweight slightly texture. Though it is supposed to be fragrance-free, to my nose it does have a very slight medicinal scent that dissipates fairly quickly upon application. I like how it provides a layer of moisture before even applying my night cream and since using it my skin feels well hydrated and looks brighter.

Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Intensive Recovery Ampoules

Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Intensive Recovery Ampoules ($110) are a powerful recovery oil concentrate that calms and rapidly repairs the appearance of skin that has been overstressed while helping to strengthen the protective barrier to better resist future assaults. This product is formulated which ChronoluxAI technology which helps to reduce visible irritation and support skin's natural synchronization. It is recommended for use when skin feels stressed due to environmental damage, lack of sleep, travel, or seasonal or weather changes.

This skin treatment is supposed to be used as needed in between your serum and moisturizer. It is precision dosed in individual ampoules (60 in a jar) which you twist to open, dispense and massage lightly over skin using fingertips. The product itself is a light oil which doesn't feel greasy and pretty much sinks right into the skin upon application. I didn't think much of it at first but after using this a few times, I noticed that my skin was always softer and more supple the morning after. My dry patches disappear and I'm quite sure that it helps with brightening as well since I wasn't using any brightening products while I was testing this range. I  love the ease and hygiene of the pre-measured doses and while it's been tempting to use to these more often because of how well my skin responds when I do I'm exercising restraint and limiting myself to just 3-4x/week.

Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye

Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye ($60) is a comprehensive anti-aging eye treatment powered by the brand's exclusive ChronoluxCB technology. This gel cream has been proven to reduce the appearance of every key visible sign of eye aging including fine lines, wrinkles, puffiness, dark circles, dryness and uneven skintone.

I can't really attest to the efficacy or inefficacy of this product since I was in the midst of trialing another eye cream so I couldn't test this one out fully.  I can say that it has a silky texture and feels very rich and nourishing on the eye area. I've heard that it works quite well on dark circles so I'm looking forward to using it.

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Micro Cleansing Foam Review, Estee Lauder Advanced Night Micro Cleansing Balm, Estee Lauder Advanced Night Micro Cleansing Balm Review, Estee Lauder Advanced Night

Estée Lauder Advanced Night Micro Cleansing Foam & Micro Cleansing Balm

Estée Lauder Advanced Night Micro Cleansing Foam ($30) is a high performance, purifying wash that transforms into a soft, airy foam to deep cleanse and leave skin feeling clean, soft, and conditioned. Estée Lauder Advanced Night Micro Cleansing Balm ($45) starts off solid and melts into a silky cleansing oil when massaged onto skin. Add water and it transforms into a milky emulsion that rinses away, removing makeup and impurities, including pollution, as it purifies.

I really like my AB cleansers and I wasn't sure how these would measure up. The balm which is housed in an elegant translucent white tub is solid in the tub and begins to transform into a oil as soon as it is massaged onto the skin. It has no scent and feels quite creamy and luxurious and it does live up to it's claims to rinse away cleanly. This balm does a good job of removing my makeup even my mascara and eyeliner without any irritation. The cleansing foam has a thin and milky feel. It works into a light fluffy mousse-like foam that feels unbelievably gentle yet leaves skin feeling effectively cleansed and soft without any tightness. I also have to note that I did get it into my eye once and it did not sting at all which was a pleasant surprise.

I've been using these in a double cleanse routine and they work well as a duo and in conjunction with other cleansers. The latter is important because I usually adjust my cleansing routine based on how much makeup I'm wearing and the current condition of my skin. I was really surprised by how much I liked these. I find the cleansing balm to be comparable both in performance and effectiveness to the SU:M37 Skin Saver Melting Cleansing Balm which is my current favorite cleansing balm. The cleanser is pleasant to use and it gets points for being fragrance-free. I also like the the cleansing foam but I've only ever used it as the second step of a double cleanse which I think it is ideal for so I can't speak to how well it removes makeup on it's own. Since it is so mild, I have my doubts that I can vouch for it in that regard. I have used it a few times in the AM and it does work fine as a morning cleanser.

I'm quite impressed with all the products I tried out from this line. The standout is definitely the Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Intensive Recovery Ampoules. This is a game changing product which I did not expect to like as much as I do but the results speak for themselves. There is also an Advanced Night Repair Concentrated Recovery PowerFoil Mask and Advanced Night Repair Concentrated Recovery Eye Mask which work in conjunction with these products. I will probably review those separately.  The Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair range is available for sale through Sephora, Nordstrom, Ulta as well as Estée Lauder.com.

Wow, it's amazing the classic ANR is a complete range now! Of course, I tried the famous serum(before the reformulation and after), it certainly didn't disappoint. I used to think the serum was expensive, but for a department store range, it isn't so bad, either. Glad to hear that nothing is obnoxiously scented. I should take a closer look at the brand again. I used to love both their makeup and skincare.

I love this product and used it for years in the past. I had a good friend that worked at Estee Lauder and she always loaded me up with their products including this. Great review Rowena.

I've only heard awesome things about the Advanced Repair line, and now, your post just makes me want to try them even more, Rowena!:D I must admit I don't have any EL when it comes to skin care, and that serum sounds like a good one to introduce myself into.
Have a great Monday:)

I am in love with the ANR serum, but the eyecram, the only other product from the line I tested, wasn't as convincing for me. It was nice, but nothing to write home about.

Ooh what a gorgeous range! I've never disliked a product by Estée Lauder and so I can imagine these products are just as impressive; I'm now very, very curious about the Intensive Recovery Ampoules. It sounds wonderful!

I only know Estee Lauder ANR serum, ampoules, eye cream and moisturizer but had not idea that the range has cleansers and even masks! I tried ANR serum back in early 2013 (my mum's) and while I like it, I didn't find it to do anything for me. Recently I received two samples sizes and actually enjoyed using the serum better. Not sure if I tried the old version before reformulation or the fact I am much older and my skin has changed.

I remember my mom using Estee Lauder using the serum for years as well. She seemed to like it and I wonder why I forgot about it along the way. it's great that everything seems to work really well. I'll have to visit the counter again when I'm in the US!

I heard a lot of good about the ANR serum but haven't tried it, yet. After your good review I am tempted to give it a go. Happy Monday, Rowena.

Such a coincidence that you've done a post on this; I just ordered another Advanced Night Repair serum last night. I can really tell a difference too whenever I use it. You're lucky to have the entire range. I might try additional products too.

ANR serum does sound like a winner, no wonder that it is the most sold product in US. I always heard great things about Estee Lauder but I'm pretty sure I haven't tried any of their products yet. Besides that ANE serum, those ampules sound great too.

I didn't know that Estee Lauder also had cleaning products! That cleaning foam sounds lovely...and their Micro Cleansing Balm sounds like something worth a try.

I hope that the eye-cream also works well for your skin once you manage to try it out.

Have a fantastic start of the week!

They do sound like awesome products, it's wonderful they worked so well for you and that they have a full range so you know there won't be any problems that can sometimes occur when you mix and match skincare things that don't work well together. I had a really bad breakout when I tried to use a serum from another line with my regular stuff - something like this where every stage is covered seems like a much better idea :)

Hope you are having a great start to the week!

Thanks for the review! Reviews like this are SO helpful to me because there are SO many products on the market and I have limited money to spend, lol, so it's nice to see what other people think of things before I spend (or waste!) my money on them. Although it's pricey, Estee Lauder is a great brand and I have quite a few favorites that I use often that are made by them.

This was a fantastic round up of these beauty goodies. I have the Advanced Night Repair Complex and I actually started using it again the last week or so and honestly, I'm not sure what it is but I think I'm enjoying it more now than I previously did. Weird.
