Lagom Cellup Gel to Water Cleanser, Glossier Boy Brow, Glossier Cloud Paint, NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil, Jill by Jill Stuart Fragrance, MDSUN Repair Moisturizer

This is where I talk about some of the beauty products I've been loving lately...  it's a little bit of a mixed bag this month.

Lagom Cellup Gel to Water Cleanser
This product is marketed as a morning cleanser and it has quickly become a favorite because it's so mild and soothing. People have asked me if it is necessary to wash your face in the morning and my answer is yes! You need to wash your face in order to remove the products applied the night before, as well as any sebum or dead skin that has built up overnight. Lagom Cellup Gel to Water Cleanser is a 2 in 1 oil/water cleanser formulated with Nobel Prize-winning DermaFlux technology. DermaFlux™, hydrogenated lecithin, saponaria officinalis leaf extract and soapberry extract work together to provide increased moisture. This cleanser starts off as a gel and transforms to a watery texture as it is massaged onto the skin. It rinses off clean leaving my skin feeling soft, supple and refreshed. This product is naturally formulated with I usually use this when I used a heavier sleeping pack the night before and I like to alternate this with my Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser and Farmacy New Day Gentle Exfoliating Grains.
I featured this gem of a cleanser in my last post as well. It is only $17 and is available from Target and Peach & Lily.  Get $10 off  your purchase at Peach & Lily.

Glossier Boy Brow
I like to keep things simple when it comes to makeup and I'm not one of those people who uses a ton of products on their brows but I do want them to look groomed. I was previously using another product quite similar to this but I kept hearing about the Glossier Boy Brow so I had to try it.  This product which was inspired by hair pomade is a creamy tinted wax. I like it mostly because it has a dry consistency which makes it easy to work with.  The tiny brush lifts and fills my brows and the tiny fibers of the gel makes them look natural and defined without feeling sticky or crunchy. It wears through the day without and flaking and removes easily.

Glossier Cloud Paint in Dusk
I'm not usually one of those people who runs out to buy the latest beauty launches but something about the Glossier Cloud Paint which made their debut at the Academy Awards just compelled me. Cream blush is my jam and the tube packaging was very appealing. This collagen infused product comes in 4 shades which were inspired by gradient pink NYC sunsets. I knew immediately I wanted Dusk which is a peachy nudish brown. This blush has a gel/cream formulation that's sheer, buildable and feels light as air. It applies effortlessly and looks incredibly natural like I have a healthy, flushed-from-within glow going. This is my favorite way to do blush since I really don't care to look heavily made up. The tube takes a little getting used to as far as dispensing the right amount of product but once you get it right, a little goes a long way. It has decent staying power too.

NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Dolce Vita
I fell in love with this lip pencil when I first acquired it. Then I forgot about it and since rediscovering it, I'm all into it again. The Velvet Matte Lip Pencil combines the application of a lipstick with the convenience of a pencil. I don't usually do mattes because I find them aging and drying but this is one I actually like. Dolce Vita is a shade brighter than my natural lip color so it wears as a slightly more MLBB color which I feel makes me look more awake. This product gets points for pigmentation and staying power as well.

Jill by Jill Stuart Fragrance
This was included in the goody bag I received at the Jill Stuart FW17 presentation. As lovely as the bottle is, I like the fragrance even more. This description for this scent is a delicate floral fragrance designed for girls who have forgotten to dream. It's quite reminiscent of Stella by Stella McCartney which is my signature scent. It has sweet floral notes but it also has fruity notes which keep it light and fresh.

MDSUN Repair Moisturizer*
This ultra-restorative moisturizer developed by California based plastic surgeon and biochemist, Dr. George Sun, contains a revolutionary natural formula with DNA repair enzymes and high-grade vitamin C that works to dramatically minimize visible signs of aging, strengthen skin’s natural protective barrier, and repair damaged skin cells. For me, winter skincare is all about repair and this cream has been a major skin saver. Since incorporating it into my nightly regimen, I haven't had any issues with flaking or dryness which always seem to vex me when the weather is cold.  This cream is so lightweight and nourishing at the same time. My skin has been better balanced in terms of hydration and appears brighter, smoother and healthier. Vitamin C is one of those ingredients that always seem to make an immediate visible impact on my skin.

Have you tried any of these products? What have you been loving lately?

I have tried Glossier products in the past and like a few of them. I haven't tried this cloud paint, which sounds interesting. Vitamin C always helps in skincare, I use it and also use vitamin E in my body oil. Have a great new week!

I agree on the ease of Nar Velvet Lip Pencil, definitely one of the best lip crayons that I have ever tried. The shade Cruelle is my all time favourite red.

I’m looking for a new Morning Cleanser and I’ve never tried a oil/water cleanser, it looks very interesting. I’m going to make a special trip to Target for this product. My face has been ultra dry lately, that MDSUN repair Moisturizer is just what I need.

The water cleanser sounds really good - I love the packaging! And yes I totally agree that washing your face in the morning is a must in order to clean out any oils or gunk that could have made it's way on your skin overnight... much like brushing your teeth!

The Nars lip pencil sounds good as well - wish I wasn't a green beauty blogger. I've heard so many rave reviews :)

I love those NARS velvet matte pencils. My fave shade is Bahamas, it's a nice mix of brown and pink without being overly 90's in appearance. But like you I come and go with these, I get super obsessed then forget all about them for a while, only to rediscover yet again

Lovely reviews. Lagom Cellup Gel to Water Gel seems like a product that could be easily included into everyone's morning routine and it is great that it leaves your skin feeling great. Another product that seems really nice and easy to use is that glossier gel. I let my eyebrows grew out so I need something to make them look more neat. Lovely lip pencil too! I think that a good lip pencil really makes a difference in our make up routine. Have a great start of the week!

Aside from the cool products I love that there is a product named Lagom. That is actually one of my favorite Swedish words! So random and odd to see it on a beauty product!
