A Simple Fact

On happiness

Not to oversimplify things but this simple fact is true. These are trying times we live in. So while it may feel like a dark cloud is looming over, we have to try to find the light and keep surrounding ourselves with that which makes us happy. While I'm may not be happy with the state of the world and what I see on the news, I'm quite content with everything that I have in my life and want for nothing (except a new president). That's what keeps me going. So let's continually acknowledge all that's good in our lives and be thankful for them.

Morning Rowena! Absolutely agree with you. We have to be always thankful for what we have in life and that we are borned in the lucky side of the world. There is too much cruelty and still there are many bad facts in the world. Lets celebrate life and the little things. Kisses! xo

In times like these it is important to focus on the good in our lives to gain the strength we need, to face the challenges of the outside world and make a difference there.

It's dark times in our world and too many tragedies going on everywhere. I am thankful for who I am and what I have now, even though occasionally my judgements still get clouded by shiny, new, pretty things. Happy Thanksgiving, Rowena.

That's a very good quote, and so true! There are a lot of scary and worrying things in the world, but when I stop and look at my life and family there is nothing but happiness.

Hope you are having a good weekend :) Have you done any sale shopping? I made the most of some time off earlier this week and shopped at a few stores but I haven't bought anything in the sales yet.

Yes the world at large feels like it is spiraling out of control. And then when people have their own problems it is really over whelming and then you have reality TV and You Tube and watch people in their personal lives living a "dream" life...we do indeed live in strange times.

What a simple yet profound message Rowena! I try not to focus too much on all the negativity in the world and instead to look at the positive and be thankful for what I have :) Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving holiday!

That is so true Rowena! The world depresses me, so I surround myself with things & people I love. What you have control over, make it the best.
