Reading... P.S. From Paris.  A breezy and engagingly fun read from the most-read French author alive today.

Watching... Terrace House: Boys & Girls in the City, the Japanese reality series centered around a rotating cast of six strangers who live together in a sweet pad in Tokyo.  The show is decidedly mundane yet interesting at the same time. The politeness of the Japanese culture is really refreshing and apparently anyone can become a model there. Hansan would really be perfect if he wasn't a chain smoker. And we didn't get the fascination with Minori whose personality was a total bleh. The guys should've been fighting over Mizuki who was such a sweetheart. The show has also inspired me to cook more Japanese style dishes.

Listening...  to BtoB's Missing You. Anyone who knows me knows that K-Indie is more my speed than K-Pop but I make an exception for BTOB. Their songs are actually melodically pleasing and they have more than one member who can really sing which is not the case for many of those idol groups.

Cooking... with my new Staub Round Wide Cocotte. I've been coveting one for awhile and  purchased mine on major sale recently at Sur La Table. It does not disappoint and has become my favorite cooking pot.

Trying... out the Le Labo Discovery Set which I picked up on a visit to their NYC shop. I just couldn't decide which fragrance I liked the most so this is a great way to test some of their most popular scents out. Bergamote 22 is an early favorite.

Excited...  about baseball season and the New York Yankees. They just need to be a little more consistent in their hitting and working those counts.

So over...  the cold and dreary weather. It needs to warm up already. If you read my last post you'd know about those cherry blossoms in the snow.

Getting to know ...  the Starskin 7-Second Morning Mask. Review to come soon.

I'm sending some spring vibes your way! I love my Le Creuset which is like your Staub and use it often (though I also cracked the enamel! Eek!)
There's something about spring and baseball right? I loved it wayyy back in the day when Mattingly was on the team and Jeter was still a rookie. Ok getting back to present day now lol

It is much warmer here now, warmed up within two weeks from snow to 25 °C. Not complaining though.

That Terrace House show sounds pretty funny. We as an audience seem to enjoy watching strangers in a house together, lol. I just started watching/binging Suits.

I just watched the trailer for Terrace House and it looks interesting! It's refreshing to see politeness when strangers life in a house instead of a complete train wreck like Big Brothers.

Oh that show sounds fun. And Staub yes makes great pieces. I use to work in the Sur La table corporate offices when I lived in Seattle and got some great stuff.

The discovery set sounds great! I am contemplating on a full bottle from Le Labo myself. I like the Rose 31 a lot. I got to try the whole body/hair range at a hotel and fell in love with the scent. It's not too rosy which I like but also a bit spicy that I am not entirely sure how the EDP would smell on my skin.

Cocottes are great investments. I remember the first Le Creuset one that I bought years ago, I still actually have it. Will be interesting to know about how you like the Starskin mask pads. My sister used this brand a lot, I have the red carpet mask but have not used it yet. Hope your week is going well. /Madison

I think I heard about P.S From Paris, I will look it up, it sounds like a novel I might enjoy. I've never seen a Japanese reality show, I imagine it must be interesting. What does reality TV look like translated to Japanese culture? I'm not a fan of reality shoes, most of them anyway, but this one sounds interesting.

Good to know you've found a great cooking pot. I've been cooking a lot lately as well. Gotta prepare soups and proper food to nourish us through this crazy weather. We're enjoying very warm weather here, but the transition was so sudden that it somehow resulted in worsening of my already pretty bad cold and yesterday I even had fever.

I’ve heard of P.S. from Paris, I can’t wait to watch it. I’ve always wanted a Cocottee, it looks like a fun cooking pot to play with. I’m super excited about base ball to Rowena, the guy I’m dating is teaching me and I really like it.

I'm over the weather here too. While it's snowing over your way, Australia is experiencing another heatwave. I've been stockpiling up on sweater loungewear, in anticipation of lazy rainy days, but nada. Still wearing open toe sandals and shorts. Blah.
